Cute place, great for a family

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed and was a short distance from downtown, grocery etc. Highly recommend.

The house was great - perfect for four ladies on holiday.

Exceeded Expectations

The house is spacious and comfortable. The property is nicely landscaped, and provided some awesome firefly viewing at night. Ginny is very responsive and quick to address any requests. Would happily stay again!

Cozy sweet home

My son and I stayed here together. Everything was more than perfect with everything we needed and plenty of room. The setting was restful and quiet and the host most accommodating! Simple check in and lots of privacy! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Awesome! Felt like we turned back the clock in time. We loved the decor and location. It is a beautiful area especially in Fall. Host was very accommodating especially loved being greeted by a bottle of wine!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We stayed at the property while our child attended Ligonier Camp just a few miles away. We loved the outdoor spaces to read and journal, we enjoyed quiet reflection at the spring and garden in the back, we walked into town for several meals but also had everything we needed in the kitchen for some meals at home, and I was able to catch an important game on the direct tv. We hope to stay here again when our child is back at camp!

Relaxing getaway

Family of 5 enjoyed spending Memorial Day weekend in this immaculate and well-stocked home in the charming town of Ligonier. While it is advertised as a two bedroom house, the sunroom easily converts into a third bedroom. The front and back porches are perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee and the mountain parks and other attractions are nearby. We will definitely be returning.

Charming town and home

A charming American town deserves a charming home to live in while visiting. Ligonier is such a place. Where we stayed was such a home-- immaculate, well-stocked with every amenity, and surrounded by gardens which brought the day's activities to a peaceful conclusion on the rear deck. Charming getaway in the Laurel Highlands

A perfectly located cottage in downtown Ligonier. The location provides easy access to a multitude of activities in the area, including a short hour drive into Pittsburgh. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We were there for three weeks and enjoyed evenings on the back deck and afternoon "siestas" in the sun room. The owners, Ginny and Peter, were great hosts and available to answer any questions. We would definitely return.

A Cozy Cottage in a Quaint Town

We enjoyed staying in the town of Ligonier. The cottage was clean and inviting. Owners, Ginny and Peter, definitely pay attention to the small details. They are welcoming and helpful neighbors; there if you need them. We brought our bikes and rode thru the town and on several trails in the area. Quaint, charming and very clean

Had a great weekend. The house was much nicer than expected. We had four adults and two kids and had plenty of room for everyone. I was really impressed with the landscaping. The flowers are beautiful. The house is very well maintained. It was thoroughly clean. Ginny is a great host and is very accommodating. I highly recommend this rental. I definitely plan on returning.

Lovely spotless house

The house is lovely, spotless, and well furnished. The owner lives directly across the back and is very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk into town where there are many interesting gift shops and restaurants. The house is a 6-minute drive to Idlewild and Soak Zone. We went on a cool day, so we did not do any water activities. There’s more than enough dry stuff to do. It’s a must see for Daniel Tiger fans.

Perfect long weekend getaway!

This was a perfect place for my husband and I to come and stay with our best friends for a long weekend. This is the first time we got away since the COVID pandemic started and it was a great place to stay. No worries about being in a hotel with a lot of other people. It was super clean & in beautiful Ligonier! I stayed here last year with some girlfriends and remembered how nice it was. We were able to visit local wineries & sit outside as well as the Ligonier farmers market on Saturday morning which was another fun thing to do during a time of social distancing! The house is perfect for cool evenings to sit on the porch and a great space to sit around and play board games! Thank you a Ginny for offering this beautiful place for others to be able to come to and enjoy!!! Will definitely be back again soon! Kristan, Mike, Donna & Frank

Sweet historic home in Ligonier

We loved staying here and getting to cozy up next to the fire with a book, and loved getting to walk around town and on local hiking trails. A very peaceful, rejuvenating experience. Ginny had everything we could have forgotten on-hand and was quick to reply when we needed her. It was such a pleasure.
