The cabin was above and beyond what I expected. John responded quickly when I had a question besides the very detailed instructions and recommendations left in the cabin. Outside the cabins, it’s just gorgeous! Bring mosquito repellent. He has zappers at each porch but just in case. I had a great time! I will definitely be back and bring friends with me.

Cabin was exactly as stated online. It was very cozy with an easy walk down to the river, which is what we went for. We didn’t cook much at the cabin, just breakfast, but it had all we needed. We had a short but great stay!

So close to Colorado bend state park! Close to the Colorado bend general store! Live music, cold beer! Our dog enjoyed the property! 10/10, second time back and we will continue coming back when we plan a trip here! Fiesta winery is also close by and a great time!

Very comfortable and clean! Definitely recommend a weekend(or longer)fishing, listening to bands at The Bend General Store or simply wining & dining. Nice Getaway

We love coming to Bend to fish and hike. This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! Cabins are clean and have all the things you need!

Excellent little getaway away from the beating path. A nice quiet get away was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of seating and bbq pits for all cabins.Lovely walking trails for all ages!

If you want peace if you want nature this is the place to come it's very clean everybody's super nice there's lots of Wildlife and nearby there's a lot of things to do as well Colorado Bend State Park I enjoyed my stay fully and I would recommend anyone to stay here the house was very kind and prompt and if you rock hound there are all kinds of places around here to go find some very cool stuff in rivers and streams

Peaceful Getaway

We stayed in a riverside cabin and it was a wonderful getaway. Great outdoor space with thoughtful additions like bbq tools for the pits and lots of outdoor seating. The shower had great water pressure and it was super conveniently located for day passes to Colorado Bend State Park. We loved it and will be back.

We had a great time this weekend at Bend. The check in process was easy. The cabin was clean and matched the online pictures. We spent a lot of time down by the river at the cabin and went to the General Store for awesome burgers and live music. Well definitely be back.

Great place to stay

It was so relaxing. It was located right outside of Colorado bend state park. It was just a couple minute drive to get there. The general store down the road had some nice live music for the family. The property had areas for campfires and grilling and we took advantage of this. The owner was also very accommodative with my requests.. I’ll be coming back

Wasn’t a fan. I like the concept. Small, convenient, reasonably priced trailer for the size but it was very uncomfortable for us. The old school wall AC unit seemed to struggle to cool the small trailer. Maybe a mini split would’ve handled it better. The beds were stiff and a bit uncomfortable. I actually woke up with my back hurting. We booked two night but only stayed 1 & went home after our hike & shower. Couldn’t spend another evening in discomfort so I just took the L. Fortunately we were only 3-4 hours from home. To make it worse, VRBO charged me twice. So now I’m dealing with the hassle of trying to get the second charge refunded back to me. This stay didn’t make for an enjoyable weekend getaway for me.
