Large, renovated Serpent Lake home close to the Cuyuna trails and Crosby

Enjoy Serpent Lake out your back door, take a short bike ride to the Cayuna Trails out your front door, or walk to multiple shops, restaurants or the city park. This 5 bedroom (plus bunk room) recently remodeled home can sleep up to 14 people for multi-generational families to enjoy their time together. We have multiple living areas that have the room for gaming, relaxing on the patio or just catching up with your friends/family. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, don't worry as we have games and activities for kids and adults.
There is a gourmet eat-in kitchen for meal preparation, along with a Weber grill AND Traeger smoker that can handle large gatherings; or it's a short walk to several top-notch restaurants (and ice cream parlors).
The Cuyuna Trail system is literally about a mile from the house, so you don't have to worry about parking or packing your car for a day on the trails.
Paddleboards are available for the many local lakes that are non-motorized, however you can also bring your boat and park it on your own dock (boat ramp is about 3 minutes away).

This house was very spacious. With a group of 14, it still felt as though everybody had plenty of space to spread out. The house was really nice, the lake and dock were fun, and the host was responsive before and during our stay. A couple of minor complaints: the dryer didn’t work, a toilet was leaking (which the host had fixed immediately durinf our stay), the back porch door wouldn’t stay closed, dishwasher was finicky, and the biggest one would be the loose bricks on the steps outside the back porch door. Several members of my party nearly fell—hope that gets fixed soon. Despite those issues, I would 100% book this property again or any property with this host again. It was a good experience overall.

The place was clean and comfortable for our family! It felt quiet and private while still being so close to all of the activities and town shops! Hosts were so communicative and helpful! Would recommend for families of all ages!

Nice!

Great location. Big house. Loved the king beds in most rooms. Kids loved the big sectional upstairs. Appreciated the paddle boards since swimming was not great at the house. No hot tub, but owner said that was an error on vrbo end.

Great spot on the water and close to town

Spacious house with an excellent screen porch looking out at the water! We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Crosby. Great spot for both kids and adults.

Family fun

This home exceeded the photos and description! All ten of us thought it was fantastic! The remodel is beautiful and it is huge! Could sleep twenty five people I’m sure, I’ve never rented anywhere including hotels, resorts, other VRBOs that have been so spotlessly clean. The kitchen is Extremely well stocked. The walk in pantry/coffee room (our name for it) is great. Our very favorite thing was the huge porch sunroom overlooking the backyard facing the lake, it had slide down panels so you could make the entire thing a screen porch or you could have the plexiglass windows partway up or all the way up and we sat out there anytime we were at the house, watched a rainstorm one night and played card games, I highly recommend this property

Friends weekend away

The property and house were amazing! The recent remodeling was beautiful, the house was huge which was perfect for our group. Great group spaces, especially the new screened in porch, and nice bedrooms too get away for a bit. Great communication, all in all, it was perfect for us.

Best week at the lake!

We just left after an amazing week. We had 13 family members ranging in age from 19-80 and the house was perfect for us! We had plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The big, fully stocked kitchen was perfect for the many meals that we prepared. The screened in porch was the best and we spent a lot of time out there. The location of the fire pit is nice and secluded, as well. Serpent lake is beautiful and a great size for all sorts of water fun and fishing. The house is in such a perfect location to golf, bike the trails and hit the town. Something for everyone! The host was friendly and helpful and quickly responded to our many questions while planning our trip.We would definitely stay here again!

Crosby summer vac

The home was just as described and communication with Doug was immediate. Our family had a great time at the lake, at Cuyuna Park and also in the town of Crosby. We set up a Pickle Ball net on the driveway and it worked out extremely well. Although swimming off the dock was not good, there is a city beach within walking distance and fishing off the dock kept the kids interested. The lakeside porch was definately the gathering spot. We had a great time.
