One of our all-time favorite rentals! Great location, great apartment, exactly as described. Would recommend to family and friends if they want to be close to the island but not on the island.

Overall the place was as advertised and a clean, perfectly nice place near the park. The apartment is behind the main house and above the owners garage, this was not made clear in the instructions. There is also no soap or shampoo available for the restroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of room to spread out and the place had everything we needed. It wasn’t far from Acadia, but in a quieter location. The check in was simple. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Place to Stay

I really enjoyed the location. It's close to the park and quiet. The property managers are also a breeze to work with. Definitely look into this spot on your next trip to Acadia.

Quiet retreat

Nice quiet and cozy stay near Acadia. We were about 15 minutes away from Acadia and 30 from Bar Harbor, which made our stay pretty smooth. There's a supermarket maybe 10 minutes away and some restaurants and bakeries a 5-10 minute drive too. Plus a cute fluffy dog greated us most mornings which we looked forward to!

Comfortable and quiet

This one bedroom apartment was a great place for us to stay while visiting Acadia National Park. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is very comfortable and the living area is well furnished. We would definitely stay again should we be back in the area.

Perfect friendly privacy

We are so grateful to have stayed for four nights at Starry Nights on our sea kayaking trip to Mount Desert Island. Extremely clean simple and private apartment on lovely land. Hosts were kind and friendly. Everything was seamless, everything in apartment was in good condition, and just worked.We hope to return next year.

Met our needs

Overall a decent stay for the price. Met our needs and bed was comfortable. We do wish we would have known that apartment was located over the garage of the property that the owner lives in. Owner was very nice and greeted us on our arrival offering information about the area, but knowing that we were staying over the top of his garage just made it awkward to spend any time outdoors on the property. There is a very small deck just outside the entrance with two chairs so sat there some at night. The only other minor thing was no washcloths or hand towels in the kitchen.

Loved the place

Mike is a great host. He'll be there for anything you in the house. The house itself is great for a couple and has everything you need. It's a quiet area your in and feels safe and comfortable. It's also close to all the sites you’ll want to see. Loved the plac.
