Par gömställe, bästa möjliga strandutsikt! Inom Wildlife Refuge

Om visningen är viktig är detta IT! Så nära 2 stränder (Playas Pelada och Nosara - båda bara ett par minuters promenad nerför backen) att havsljuden hela tiden kommer att omge och lugna dig. Detta hem och område är lugnt och unikt eftersom det ligger inom djurlivsresortet men ändå mycket nära restauranger och allt Nosara har att erbjuda. Det bifogade pensionatet ligger i slutet av Playa Pelada, 30 meter ovanför flodmunnen och tittar ner på den svarta sandstranden i Playa Nosara vid Ostional sköldpaddsreservat. Utsikten är från stranden och också av det mest fantastiska mynningen där två floder (Montana och Nosara) samlas och flyter ut i Stilla havet. Utsikten fortsätter sedan upp i bergen. Det finns ingen bättre utsikt någonstans med den ständiga förändringen av mynningen, vågorna rullar in, fantastiska fågelskådning och det rikliga vilda djur. Detta är ett sällsynt hem inne i djurlivsflykt. Den första våningen bifogade gästhem är 1000 kvm med 1 sovrum med queen size-säng och 2 fulla bad, stort täckt däck och en futon i vardagsrummet. Perfekt för par. Vackert inredda, luftkonditionerade, privata och säkra. Du vill inte lämna. Poolen (delas med oss om vi är där och våra andra lägenhetsgäster) har en fantastisk oändlighetskant som visar utsikten, en spa-bänk med jetflyg och ett strandområde att ligga i!

Stränderna i Nosara är en lugn pärla på en serie underbara stränder på Stilla havet på Costa Rica. Nosara är ett ställe i Costa Rica där utvecklingen har kontrollerats och bevarar den naturliga flora och fauna. Ändå kan tillgången till god mat och attraktionen i världsklasssurfing på Playa Guiones och djuphavsfiske inte förnekas. Att inte tala om detta är bara en avslappnad och cool plats att vara! Nosara gjorde New York Times-listan över de 45 platserna att besöka 2012 och har gjort många fler "måste se" -listor varje år sedan! Nu har Nosara den längsta kapell turnén med zip line, ren spänning! Ta en flodtur för att se fåglar och djurliv med våra vänner på River Safari Boat Tours eller en lugn hästtur genom djungeln och stranden med våra vänner på Boca Nosara-turer, en 3 minuters promenad från hemmet. Ät middag på underbara mexikanska, italienska, medelhavs-, restauranger och de lokala Costa Rica- och skaldjursrestaurangerna. Gå 5 minuter till Playa Pelada, en av de vackraste vita sandstränderna i världen. Här kan du köpa dagens färska fångst, smutta på en förfriskning och titta på den fantastiska solnedgången.

Magical stay

Cathy’s home overlooks the beautiful Rio Nosara. The photos of the listing do not do this place justice, as soon as we stepped from the car we were speechless. Cathy and the property caretaker were extremely helpful with checkin and any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend this spot for a stay in Nosara.

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts!

This is such a beautiful spot perched above the refuge with completely unobstructed views of the coast, rivers and jungle. Cathy and Carl are wonderful people and hosts and had such great recommendations and a map ready for us with highlights. Loved their pool and property and the unit itself is very clean, well kept and nicely furnished, and A/C in bedroom was very nice.

Nosara Holiday Oassis

This Couples Hideaway, aka Casa Bella Vista, is beyond spectacular! Cathy and Carl are fantastic hosts. The property is exactly as described, and the views even better than expected. Access to everything Nosara, Guiones, Ostional and more is easy by car or in some cases a short walk.The home / apartment was well appointed, with ceiling fans inside and out, AC, 2 full baths, and a great kitchen for meals. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. A hammock and comfortable seating on the back patio allowed for one to take in the jungle waking up each morning, and settling in for the night, with stunning sunsets over the Pacific.Carl helped us navigate the local car rental scene transporting us to the closest one when our original car fell thru, and that helped us tremendously for the entire stay.They both offered suggestions for area attractions, including a kayak tour with Gabriela, turtle arribada in Ostional and restaurants to try out. Definitely recommend El Chivo.. just as they described. If we needed information or suggestions, they were both willing to help out and every recommendation was spot on.The pool area was a great spot for morning coffee, or cooking out on the new grill. Again, the views, over the nature refuge, River confluence, and the ocean are breathtaking. From the space we stayed in, to the best hosts ever, we cannot recommend this enough. We will be back!!Thank you Cathy and Ca

Beautiful views

We just stayed with a Cathy and Carl in their one bedroom apartment below their house. It is super private with a great covered terrace overlooking Rio Nosara and the beach you see in their pictures. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, fully stocked, well maintained with an added bonus of a washer/dryer. We could also use their pool. With it being high up from the ocean we also had some great breezes, so didn’t need to use AC, we just had the windows open. Awesome for sleeping! The area is a bit remote from town, which makes it very quiet. We had a car but we could also walk down to the river. We did wade across, at low tide, to walk on the beach you see in the pictures. Yes, there are apparently crocodiles, but after a few days of watching the fishermen, paddle boarders and surfers cross….we decided to go for it. At low tide it was only knee deep. It’s a beautiful secluded beach, very few people, no buildings…..so we loved it! Thanks Cathy and Carl for a great stay.

Phenomenal Place to stay

We just finished staying at Couples Hideway in Nosara for almost the entire month of February. Id be very surprised if there is a better place to stay in Nosara let alone most of Costa Rica. Let’s start by saying that Cathy & Carl are two of the nicest hosts you’ll come across. Upon arrival we couldn’t locate the right turn by Carl was out on his ATV to track us down to escort us. He then picked us up a local pizza to save us from having to leave. The next morning Cathy dropped off eggs from her chickens since we hadn’t stocked up yet. After we got settled in the next day we started to see why everyone else loved this property. It has one of the most amazing views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and we made sure to be back by the pool every night to enjoy sunset. The sky was always amazing. The property is clean and comfortable with great doors to sit and enjoy the amazing views. We grilled fish chicken and burgers several times and woke up every day to beautiful views while we sipped our smoothies. After driving to their house the first day or two we became accustomed to dealing with the bumpy dirt road as it always lead us back to paradise in Nosara.

In a nutshell, PARADISE!

We've all heard it said before, "pictures don't do it justice". Well, this is true for this magnificent paradise! While the pictures of the residence are remarkably amazing, nothing beats seeing it in person. I have read many of the other reviews and they all write of how wonderful of a place and location. Those looking for a party, keep scrolling. Those looking to really take in Costa Rica in its purest form, look no further. From the rocky cliffs, to the sandy beaches, winding rivers, and perfect sunsets. This place is the perfect setting for adventure. Carl and Cathy are spectacular host. We were delayed during our flight and arrived later than anticipated. Carl was right outside when we arrived to give us a quick tour of the property. He put his dinner on hold to make sure we were given then details of the area. The next morning, Carl and Cathy introduced us to their animals. They gave us tips on things to do, and even arranged for us to see the turtles come to shore and lay their eggs at Ostonial Beach. They were never intrusive, but readily available any time we needed them (which was rare, unless we wanted to tell them how great of a time we were having). Just a short walk from the house is a nature trail where you will see monkeys, coati, beautiful birds, and might get lucky to have a local pup as a tour guide, lol. A little about the area. Yes the roads are mostly dirt and we were aware of this, but nothing to deter anyone from choosing this spot for a vacation destination. The drive there was part of the adventure. My husband and I drove through multiple areas to see where we would go next and with out a doubt, we would come back here! Don't get me wrong, there are some truly spectacular places, but nothing beats the peaceful serenity and views from this place. I could go on and on about our trip, but I don't want to ruin the excitement of what the next person will see. 5 + star rating in our book.

Costa Rican Paradise

Due to recent excessive rain, driving was very difficult to get there. From the International Airport in Liberia, the drive was over 2 hours, and was full of potholes the last 45 minutes. Our rental car under engine cover fell down to the ground due to the bad roads, and we had to get that repaired. Other than that, this place was amazing! Gorgeous views, peaceful, and we even had a front row seat to howler monkeys and quatimundi who visited the tree right in front of us several times. Very close to great kayaking tour of the Montana river with Gabriella, Largarta Lodge with elegant sunset dinner, gorgeous beach front a 3-5 minute drive away off of La Luna and Olga's restaurants, and fun Zipline tour with Miss Sky. Nosara beach was about 5-8 minute drive. (Slow driving was necessary due to massive potholes). Unfortunately the outdoor cushion chairs had a bad odor, and we found a scorpion on the dresser one morning. There was a/c in the bedroom so sleeping was comfortable. Two gorgeous, updated bathrooms. The grounds around the property and pool are beautiful and maintained daily by a gardener. The property windows and doors are barred with thick designer barring. There is a security friend on site daily, and a night security detail down the street. LOTS of construction going on from the main street throughout the residential area. We were told not to leave anything in the car at the property and at any of the beaches and restaurants. Apparently there are friendly theives who know how to easily pop the locks. We followed the advice and didn't have any issues. While the place was lovely, and the hosts were kind, not sure I would want to come again due to the pothole filled driving. We got massages while in town, and that helped a bit. But the tension from driving those roads takes a toll on your body.

Best to Avoid Rainy Season...

Spent 5 nights here in November, 2015. End of Rainy Season means lush green foliage, but terrible road conditions… 4WD with substantial ground clearance is a necessity! Be prepared for moon-crate pot holes and foot-deep puddles. Also learned that few flowering trees and plants are in bloom at this time of year; so little color, other than some of the birds. Also, bugs are particularly active… Had to apply bug spray every time we went outdoors, or would have bites within minutes! This unit is on the lower level below the owner’s home, but is very private and affords nice ocean & river views and the constant sound of the surf. It is very secure, as long as you remember to lock the doors. There is a large covered sitting area complete with hammock, table & chairs, and ceiling fan… A nice option on rainy days! The shared pool is just a few steps up from the end of the patio and is a pleasant place to set in the jets and watch the birds in the trees above. The interior is somewhat dated, but has all the essentials and is nicely decorated in a Caribbean flavor… Carved mural over the bed is awesome! Queen bed was very comfortable and two bathrooms was nice. Be prepared for many crawling bugs on the floor, especially ants… Didn’t bother us, but might be an issue for some? A/C is available, but ceiling fans in all rooms stir up enough breeze to keep things comfortable. Owner also provided an oscillating fan, upon request. WiFi is available, but signal is very weak and intermittent. We were a little disappointed that there were no beach chairs available and no gas BBQ grille. There is an old charcoal grille, but you’ll need to furnish your own charcoal & starter; and there are no utensils or light for use after dark? The awful roads make going out for meals a bit of a challenge and we hesitated to contribute to the heat by using the oven, so grilling would have been a nice option. Palada Beach is a nice long uncrowdeded beach to spend time at, but you will need to drive (or long walk) to the access points. Olga’s at the south end of the beach serves the coldest cerveza we had in Costa Rica! There are several restaurants & grocery stores in the area, but these too require driving on the nerve-wracking roads. In short, a quiet, comfortable & secure place to spend a few days, but would be a better selection during dry months (Dec.- May). The owners, despite being “under the weather” during our stay, were pleasant and accommodating.

Vue imprenable sur l'estuaire du Rio Nosara et sur la plage de Nosara. De magnifiques oiseaux aux alentours. Accès facile à la Plage Pelada. Et que dire de la magnifique piscine avec la vue.

The best view

You will have the house for yourselves with the extra advantage of having two bathrooms. The view and sound of the waves are the big shot of the house plus the hosts are always available without being invasive, if you need them they will be able to help you at any time. We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful

Absolutely stunning view, gorgeous sunsets, and great location. Right beside an ecological reserve, we enjoyed the wildlife, birds, squirrels, coati, armadillo. Also quite close to Nosara where you can find great food options and the Surfing beach. We particularly enjoyed La Luna beachside restaurant for great seafood, abundant portions, lively atmosphere and one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We also highly recommend the Spa at the Guilded Iguana Hotel. The suite itself is lovingly detailed and immaculately maintained. Nothing but raves about this place and it would be our pleasure to be able to return.

Top Accommodation in Paradise

This property I think must have the most incredible view/be in the most gorgeous setting in Costa Rica (shoot, maybe even in Central America?)! The images don’t even describe how breathtaking it is. The pool was a great place to hang out (water was perfect) and enjoy that view while sunning and sipping cocktails. The unit was very nice. I must say we did spend more time in the bedroom as that is where the AC unit is and it was quite hot and humid during our stay. But there are fans in every single room of the whole property which made for great air movement. The bed was comfortable and we slept well! Alejandro was an amazing contact as the care taker. He’s a super nice man. The owners did a great job communicating details and were very responsive to emailed questions. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat .highly recommend.

A slice of paradise

If you prefer nature over nightlife and don’t mind a good walk, this is the perfect place for you. The beauty is stunning. As two people said to us, there is no better view in the area and I don’t hesitate to believe them. The walk to the preserve and a place to rent kayaks is only ten minutes down the road (beautiful, basically empty beach). The river crossing is easy (during low tide) and you can enjoy lots of birds and monkeys along the walk. Then 10 minutes in the other direction you can walk a path to a lovely small bay beach “gulfo” and another 10-15 minutes walking on the path and then beach will get you to La Luna. This restaurant on the beach has fabulous food and drinks, and a lovely view of the water. We had a car, but enjoyed these walks and also walked to town (playa Pelada area). Guiones area can be walked to, but that is a bit far and we chose to drive. Carl and Cathy’s place is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool every day, had plenty of our own patio space to relax with our coffee every morning (enjoying both the comfy chairs and the hammocks), and loved the little chair space that seemed designed perfectly to sit and watch the sunset. It was a quiet place to do yoga and meditate with nothing more than waves and bird sounds. We hope to make it back to this lovely place. When we vacation, we always enjoy ourselves, but are also very happy to go home at the end of our trip (having our fill). This was the first time in 30 years of travel together that we wished we didn’t have to go. We did not get to meet the owners as they were out of town, but their friend Alejandro was a gracious host to us. We hope to get back here soon!

Our stay was nice, the facilities were excellent, our hosts were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The area is great except for the horrible, Vehicle eating roads. They did limit our mobility and exploration of the area. Despite this we would consider returning.

This property definitely surpassed any expectations. We were greeted by Carl, who gave us a great overview and map of the area with recommendations. My boyfriend’s birthday was the day after we arrived, and he booked a deep sea fishing trip for us on last minute notice. We stayed in the lower level of the home and it was plenty of space. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved having two bathrooms when we were both getting ready in the mornings. The absolute best part was the view. As we turned the corner going down to the home, the view of the ocean meeting the river mouth took my breath away. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Thanks for all your hospitality Carl! We hope to see you again soon!
