Originally built in 1886 by the RCMP, this historic building was the first barracks built in the Rockies. Now, this iconic space has been reinvented as a truly unique, one-of-a-kind getaway. Sip your morning coffee from the covered outdoor porch and watch the kids play in the backyard`s trampoline & treehouse. Get creative in the designated art studio (all supplies included.) Enjoy the short (3-min) walk over to the Windermere Beach & boat launch. Soak under the stars within the private hot tub.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm (should you so desire!)

This unit features two ensuite washer/dryer sets with laundry pods and dryer sheets for your use.

Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.





ADDITIONAL AMENITIES

- 24/7 Assistance: Our goal is to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We do not live on the property, but you can reach us 24/7 via text if you need us for any reason.





PARKING

Guests will have access to the grassy area in front of the house to park and street parking nearby.



Please note that access to the exterior sheds is not included in the rental.

We wanted family vacation by the lake, and around Windermere to also visit some old friends. We were not disappointed, the beach proximity, quiet neighborhood, the historic and beautiful residence was perfect. A few more days could of been on the cards, specilally for the kids. The host were friendly and kind, the rules were simple and well explain. Would be definitely be on my list to do again.
