River Rest 2: On river, prime location in town.

Modern tiny home on the banks of the Chena River. Prime in town location. Short walk to HooDoo Brewery, Alaska Salmon Bake, kayak/paddle board and bicycle rentals, Pioneer Park and the Carlson Center. Only 8 minutes to the airport & UAF. Riverfront deck with chairs to enjoy the view. Ride bikes downtown in the summer along the river bike path. Beautiful kitchen, large walk-in shower, fast Wi-Fi and a high-end queen bed and linens. NO PETS, NO SMOKING and NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OLD.

NO PETS, NO SMOKING and NO CHILDREN under 10 years old. There are 3 units on the property. The only shared space is the coin-op washer/dryer and the patio/deck area near the river. Each unit has its own access. ***There is a ship ladder that accesses the loft/sleeping area. Easy to climb up and down, but requires both hands on the railings, is kind of steep and is not suited for children under 10, folks with bad balance or anyone afraid of heights.***

Our neighborhood is easy to access from all of Fairbanks. It's a great place to leave from for a long walk or bike ride as well. There is a dedicated parking spot in front of your unit. There is a plug-in for your car in the cold winter months.

I am extremely accessible. Generally respond in just a few minutes to a text message.

You know the saying. . .location, location, location. This is it. On the river, close to everything. Only 8 minutes (or less) to Fairbanks International Airport, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Downtown and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. You can walk to Pioneer Park, the Carlson Center and one of our best local breweries, all in 5-10 minutes. There is a foot bridge that goes across the river to a wonderful bike path that you can take all the way downtown (approx. 2 miles) if you like. Our neighborhood is quiet, there are almost always ducks on the water and we often see fox, especially in the morning.

Our neighborhood is easy to access from anywhere in town. It also makes for a great walking and biking area. There is a dedicated parking spot in front of your unit. And there is a plug-in available for your car during the cold winter days.

Please note the river can be dangerous. Do not get in or near and please WATCH YOUR CHILDREN. We have wonderful neighbors, please be courteous. Due to winter conditions generally starting mid November, the BBQ and chairs on the deck will be put away for the winter.
Please remove shoes upon entering the Unit, especially in the winter the salt ruins the floor.

DO NOT stain the bed linens. Blood or bodily fluid stains on the bedding will result in a $75.00 charge for replacement of linens.

Do NOT use our counters as a cutting board, there are cutting boards provided.

DO NOT put food down the sink drain. Scrape your food in the trash before washing.

DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper!

DO NOT put the dishes away dirty.

Leave blinds up at least one inch in the winter and curtains open during your stay. Alaska has an extreme issue of condensation due to the cold vs. heat temps. The condensation will create mold on the windows.

DO NOT put the thermostat above 75 degrees

Inside contents of the unit stays inside it does not go outside!

Food cover in the microwave must be used to cover your food while heating it up. This prevents food explosion into the vents of the microwave.

DO NOT wash your loose hair into the sink drain, it creates clogs throw it in the trash!

Shut off all lights and unplug water kettle at all times when not inside of the unit.

Shampoo, Soap and Conditioner is supplied to you. ALL OTHER extra toiletries BELONG TO RIVER REST AND ARE THERE FOR your use NOT for you to take when you leave.
