We are an active-duty military family. Shaun is proudly serving in the US Navy for 17 years, and Anne has been working in Pharmaceutical Sales for 19 years. We have three young childrenâCatherine (8), John (6), and Michael (3)âwhich is why you'll find many family-friendly items throughout our home.

We immediately fell in love with this neighborhood for its charm and family-friendly atmosphere. It is a hidden gem in the center of San Diego and exceptionally quiet. El Cerrito, our neighborhood, received Nextdoor's award for being one of the most patriotic neighborhoods in the United States. The wide, freshly paved streets and well-lit sidewalks make it perfect for a leisurely stroll. In the summer, the community hosts Flamingo Fridays, where neighbors gather for a potluck. On the 4th of July, there's a neighborhood parade, and at Halloween, children can enjoy the "Boo" parade.
