Cozy cabin in great location

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was well furnished, warm, cozy, and perfect for our group. Highly recommended!

Nice cabin.

The only issue we had was the fridge did not get cold and we had to keep our food in a cooler. I notified the owner and left a message and said it wasn't a huge deal because we had a cooler and not much food. I did not hear back from him. It was an inconvenience however. Otherwise it was great and met all our needs. The location was great and near everything we wanted to do.

Spent this past weekend in Tahoe and we couldn't have picked a better cabin to stay in. The cabin itself is beautiful and cozy inside and it is convineint to almost everything just a short drive away. First time in Tahoe and it will definetly not be our last, the cabin was what made the trip 10 times better. Thank you Brad

Sweet beautiful clean cabin!

The cabin was just as it was shown in the pictures. It was clean and had a true cabin vibe with wood beams and cabin themed features. It had everything we needed in terms of making meals etc...The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Loved our trip! Would rent this cabin again!

Spacious & Adorable Cabin

This property had plenty of room for 7 guests. There were enough beds for everyone that was staying! The cabin was also very clean and had great charm & character! I would recommend this property to anyone who is staying in South Lake Tahoe!

Cozy Cabin

If you are looking for a cozy stay, this is your place. Don’t let the outside change your mind. This place has lots of character. Every bit of space is used wisely. We enjoyed our evening dinners on the spacious front porch then enjoyed a game of corn hole. It is a hop skip & a jump from the main points of interest in So Lake Tahoe. We highly recommend.

Cute and cozy. Everything you need for a getaway!

Beautiful little cabin. Well laid out, rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Lots of bathrooms, great water pressure. Living area was warm and homey, I wish I had time to hang out there more. Brad was super nice and accommodating. Would definitely love to come back.

Love this cozy cabin

This is our 2nd time staying at the cabin. I have been coming to Tahoe for over 20 years and have never stayed in the same house more than once. That should tell you a lot about this cabin. It is comfortable and well appointed. The owner is responsive and easy to work with. Beds are comfortable, fireplace works great, and 3 bathrooms! The house is very clean and we love the extra throw blankets for snuggling. Neighborhood is quiet and about 5 minutes away from Heavenly California lodge. Can’t wait to come back, hopefully next year.

Great place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Great location with with everything you need just a short distance away. You can save your grocery shopping until you get there since Safeway is less than a mile away. Can't go wrong here.

My wife and I live in Folsom, CA. We bought The Bear Necessity in 2011 because of our love for Tahoe. We got engaged at the cabin and now our children are able to share our joy for Tahoe. We love being able to share our cabin with others who are visiting this beautiful area!

We chose this cabin because of it's log cabin charm as well as the proximity to Heavenly, the beaches, Bijou Medow, grocery stores, and great restaurants

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The cabin is near a nice meadow as well as golf course. You are within 5 minutes from both heavenly and the Casinos, as well as the beach. Whole Foods, Safeway, Chipotle, 5 Guys are all close by.
