For any events or activities at Drake University, this location is perfect. We rented it for my daughter‘s graduation from Drake and it was super convenient to walk to the Knapp center. The hosts are fantastic and the house is set up very nicely as a rental property. There are clear instructions everywhere. The house is very nice and has ample bedrooms for larger groups. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect place for our trip back to Drake University

As an alum of Drake University I planned a trip back for the Drake Relays with some friends. The place was perfect. Great location near campus. Lots of parking, plenty of room in the house and nice outdoor spaces. We had a great time and my guests complimented the place. Very clean, lots of amenities. Terrific !

Clean, Great Beds, Good Amenities

We enjoyed our stay! Number of bedrooms and all beds Q/K make this a great house for privacy and sleeping. Plenty of dishes, huge dining table with plenty of seating. Everything feels new. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Can’t think of a single thing to be improved.

All the beds were very comfortable and linens were very clean. Nice assortment of games for evening family fun. We were busy, so never were able to use the hot tub or firepit, but they did look inviting! The rooms are spacious. You need to pull into the alley to access the parking, but plenty of parking available for 4-5 cars.

Family, Adventureland vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this location for a family vacation at Adventureland in Altoona. It was spacious enough for 8 adults and three grandchildren. We especially enjoyed the arcade, and Wii and all of the board games. The outdoor space was wonderful as well. The kids played “carpet ball” for hours, and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit with the chairs around it. Great memories were made! Thank you Matt and Mariah.

Sisters trip

Very enjoyable stay for five 60-72 year old sisters. Extremely clean and a bedroom for each of us! Clean and plenty of linens in each bathroom. We enjoyed the fire ring and hot tub and taught the sisters carpet pool which was fun to see as I have enjoyed it in campgrounds we’ve stayed in. Nice to be able to cook breakfast as all necessary kitchen items were available in the cabinets. Good central location to all venues we were interested in visiting. Would recommend to others highly.

Only problem we had was very bad tasting water out of refrigerator and ice maker in frig did not work. Ice cubes we did manually came with bad flavor in our drinks. Otherwise all good.

This house was ideal for our group of 12. There were plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft sheets. The kitchen was well-stocked. Important information was clearly posted throughout the house. Checking in and out was among the easiest experiences we've ever had It's very clean and well maintained. If we need to stay in Des Moines again, we will definitely try to stay here or at one of their other properties.

House was super clean and we had 8 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Nice big table to eat together and a nice space downstairs to hangout together in the evenings. They had a yard game and hot tub by the fireplace for us to hangout in the yard in the evening as well. Pretty well everything we wanted to do was within 10-20 minutes. Kitchen had all the things we needed to cook meals but the ice maker in the fridge was broke but had ice trays so wasn't a huge deal. Washer and dryer was also nice to wash clothes before getting home.

We enjoyed the time we spent there. Mostly during the days we were gone, but enjoyed spending the evenings playing cards and games. Seemed like a quiet neighborhood and we took several walks. Thank you.
