We stayed over Thanksgiving and I was able to cook a dish to take to my family holiday dinner. The kitchen is extremely large and well organized. The fenced backyard is very nice for our little dog. I also noticed that a Keurig coffee maker has been added since our last stay which complements the drip coffee maker.

Kirk was a great host. The house was exactly as pictured and accommodated our group of 11 for Preseason Nationals held at HyVee Hall. The house was clean, smelled great w/ more than enough of the extras that many houses don’t offer like the right amount of towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc..We are appreciative to Kirk for hosting us and would 10/10 recommend to any group to use as a space with their next trip to the area.

Ironsides Tournament!

We came with a large group from MN looking for a place we could all be under one roof. Nailed it! The house fit us all very comfortably. The kitchen was fabulously stocked with all the gadgets so making meals was so easy. 100% would book again next year when we come back down!

Kirk was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The home was beautifully stocked with very sweet and considerate touches. It was perfect for our needs. The kids absolutely loved the arcade area and it was nice to have it downstairs. You couldn't hear it upstairs when they were playing and I know they enjoyed having their own space. My daughter loved the design of the rooms. She is now begging me to let her paint her wall with a mural. There was plenty of closet space and lots of blankets. I really like having extra blankets so that was a favorite of mine. The towels were also very nice and fluffy. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with appliances, pans, hot water kettle, and coffee maker to name a few. I really can't think of anything that I wish we had which is saying something. Very pleased. Would absolutely stay here again.

It was a great space for our family and dog. We enjoyed the fully fenced in backyard and the arcade/game room and games. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beds were comfortable. On the surface it was clean and loved the decor but could use a deep cleaning. Some of the dishes needed to be run through the dishwasher before using, crumbs in cabinets, cob webs in corners and hair in bathrooms that wasn’t ours. One of the bathrooms glass shower doors were no longer connected at bottom. Host communicated well. Overall a good experience but for the cost a good cleaning and a little TLC in a few areas is needed.

Amy, thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. I’m really glad your family and dog enjoyed the fenced yard, arcade/game room, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and overall space. I’m also sorry the cleaning did not feel as thorough as it should have. That is fair feedback, and we take it seriously. We had already scheduled our quarterly deep clean immediately after your checkout, and your comments helped reinforce the specific areas that needed extra attention. We appreciate you noting the good communication and overall positive experience. Our goal is for the Arcade House to feel fun, comfortable, and truly guest-ready every time, and your feedback helps us keep improving. Thanks again for staying with us. Kirk
