Amazing spacious apartment right on the canal. Beautifully decorated Great host. Only thing I didn’t realize was although it says two bathrooms it only has one toilet. We made it work and would absolutely stay here again. So many great cafes and restaurants right outside the door and only a short walk to metro station. Madame Helene was quick to reply if we had a question and met us the day we arrived at the apartment to show us where to find everything.

This was a perfect accommodation for me and my family. It was clean and spacious and the neighborhood offered great ambiance and quick access to local shops. I would absolutely stay here again for my next family trip to Paris.

Hélène is a wonderful and communicative host, and her apartment in the 10th is unbelievably nice! It is spacious, clean, and decorated with impeccable taste. It's also family-friendly, and situated right on the canal. This was the perfect home base to explore Paris for a week. Merci, Hélène, for a great visit!

The apartment was absolutely darling. Being on the canal was very interesting watching all the people go by and just relaxing in the evenings by the canal. It was very noisy at night, especially on the weekend. However we finally figured out if we closed all of the living room windows. It was quiet.The bathrooms are not connected to any bedrooms. And there is only one toilet. We worked around that well but more than four people could be a problem. The toilet area was separate from the other two bathrooms, which was good. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much!

A beautiful, charming apartment. Spacious, full of character. Was perfect for my wife and two children, 9 and 6. We enjoyed Helene's home for a week. A great home base for us as we explored Paris. Helene was a lovely host. Great communicator. Couldn't recommend more.

This apartment is truly spectacular and in a beautiful location. Our view of the canal and treetops and the pedestrians, bikes and boats below was just perfect for a home away from home in a busy city. Our family had lots of room to spread out and the host was so helpful and kind at check in. Would absolutely recommend, and would love to come back someday! This neighborhood is a great one for food, shopping, coffee and chocolate and while we were not the only tourists, we felt like we were just far enough away from busy tourist areas to play Parisiennes. Thank you so much.

Awesome apartment!

Great apartment with elevator, equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. Great neighborhood with local vibe, very few tourists and we felt like local Parisians. Helene was a great host. We’ll stay here again, just an awesome place.

Great location and responsive host

We loved staying right on the Canal St. Martin. There are several cafes and bakeries within just a few blocks, and the nearest metro station (Republica) is a short walk from the apt. The hostess was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

Lovely space in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris and a big part of it was due to this space. We had everything we needed and it had a nice mix of modern and antique decor. The layout was great for allowing each of my family members to have their own space. As far as location, it was a nice short walk to the metro and there were many wonderful cafes and bakeries in the area.

Beautiful neighborhood

Wow. This apartment was a perfect home for our stay in Paris. We loved the view of the canal. And all the wonderful people watching. The living area is very large and comfortable. Short walking to subway. Highly recommend staying here

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic neighborhood

This apartment was perfect for our family’s weeklong stay in Paris. The apartment was gorgeous, clean, and so comfortable. We loved all the art and books! And the neighborhood is absolutely wonderful. Such delicious food, great shopping, and such lovely people. We had the best time. Thank you, Helene!

Sophisticated Paris Apartment!

Just returned from our wonderful stay in Paris and the Canal St. Martin area. Perfect location especially for hitting the newer and fresher style of the Paris restaurant scene. The owner was extremely helpful and clearly wished to offer an exceptional and very well-appointed property. I am an experienced traveler and will be back!

This apartment was fabulous! The area was vibrant and off the typical tourist path, but it still allowed easy access for traveling around Paris and viewing the sites. We loved sitting on the balcony, drinking wine and people watching. Everything was well equipped with plenty of tools for cooking and such. Communication was excellent, and the host even met us in the apartment upon arrival to show us everything. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay

Beautiful apartment with all the necessary accoutrements. Easy and prompt communication with Hélène, the owner. She was able to help me out with questions I had as well as a delivery to the apartment. There is a great caretaker, Jean Louis, on site for any needs particular to the property. Great neighborhood with lots of great restaurants nearby. Would absolutely stay here again!

Girls trip

Five of us went to celebrate a milestone birthday and this apartment was perfect. Plenty of room, clean and well equipped. Helene was wonderful to communicate with. The vibe in the area was perfection- lots of bakeries, cafes and cocktails- who could ask for more!! Thank you Helene- we’ll be back! And a shout out to Jean Louise for his hospitality in meeting us and helping with anything we needed!!

Beautiful apartment with lots of historic items

Beautiful apartment overlooking the Chanel and near restaurants and stores. Our vacation wasn't the best, weather getting there,, lost luggage....it was so nice to be able to come back to the apartment and relax Helene met us there and helped with getting settled. Definitely recommend!

This property was lovely as advertised, and perfect for our family. The communication was so important because we had a little one and needed a crib and some extra attention. It was seamless.

Wonderful Paris Apartment

We loved our stay at this apartment overlooking the canal St Martin. The apartment is very large, with 3 bedrooms in a traditional Parisienne building. There are huge floor to ceiling windows in the rooms that you can open or close. The cafe downstairs is very good as well. The streets along the canal are closed off on the weekend and people are out enjoying the neighborhood. We will stay here again!

Charming and Cozy Parisian Apartment

The apartment is charming, comfortable and well-appointed. The neighborhood is fabulous! We jogged along the river, walked to great shopping, cafes and the metro is just a few blocks away. Helene was a great host and made our first trip to Paris extremely comfortable and memorable. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood away from the crowded tourists spots, I highly recommend Canal St. Martin and Helene’s spacious apartment.

Amazing Stay

We LOVED our stay here. Helene was beyond kind, welcoming and gracious. She thought of everything you can possibly need and more! The place was very beautiful, a home away from home as our family called it. It was great coming back to it after a busy day in the city. Very clean, organized, great location and place is amazing, amazing. When we get back to Paris, definitely will be our family’s place to go back to. Thank you very much Helene for welcoming us and sharing your home. My family will remember this vacation forever.
