Cabana de Sol is located in the heart of Venice, FL, perfectly located less than 10 minutes from Nokomis, Venice and Caspersen Beach and just a minute walk to all the shops and restaurants at Jacaranda Plaza. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen and 2 living areas, this home is the perfect, hassle-free getaway for up to 8 people. With tropical design and a private pool, you can rest assured that you have arrived on vacation enjoying the salty, balmy breezes blowing in from the local Gulf beaches.
The space
Cabana de Sol is a true Florida charmer!
Cozy yet spacious, it features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and 2 living spaces so your group can enjoy games in one room and a show in the other.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower.

The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed.

The 3rd bedroom has a Full-size bed with a Twin pull-out trundle underneath.

Your group can enjoy the great layout which includes the living room with a smart TV and the sunroom with games and books to enjoy. Right off the kitchen you will find a washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside you will find a covered patio area and a private pool to soak up the abundant Florida sunshine, as well as a large unfenced yard to enjoy some sports and recreation.

RV and/or boat parking allowed off to the side of the driveway.

You will have access to the whole house and yard, this area is not shared with anyone. The yard is only fenced along the back.

Cabana de Sol located on the gulf coast of Florida in Venice. FL. Only 7 minutes to Venice Beach and downtown Venice.

You can drive 10 minutes to Caspersen Beach, where you can find shark teeth and unusual seashells. Book a Megalodon fossil hunt to look for prehistoric shark teeth.

Nokomis Beach is a local favorite and has beautiful white sands and ample parking and is only 10 minutes away.

Venice has a lot to offer, such as wine tastings, fresh coffee from local cafés, and a charming bookstore for all your favorite beach reads. Every morning, enjoy free yoga on the beach, evening concerts in the park, bicycle tours around town, and so much more.

Rent a boat to enjoy a day on the water or go fishing right off the Venice Pier. Stop in at Sharkey's on the beach for a bite to eat where you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the gulf.

1960s Florida home

Many thanks to the host for securing her home during my stay in Venice Beach. K provided timely responses to my questions.However, future guests should read all reviews carefully before booking. The home is an older 1960s Florida house with minimal updates. There were issues with mold in the showers, requiring flip flops for the master and secondary showers.The pool area lacks sunbathing space until the afternoon, and one lawn chair was broken. While the pool was clean, the surrounding area was not, and no cleaning tools were available.The location is convenient for shopping but noisy due to traffic. The backyard lacks privacy, making it hard to relax poolside.This review is not meant to be disrespectful. I hope the owners consider necessary repairs and renovations to justify the current pricing.

Venice, FL is a. beautiful beach town off the barrier island of Venice, FL. which has beautiful beaches such as Venice Beach (as well as pier perfect for strolling and fishing), Nokomis Beach which is a local favorite and the shark tooth capitol of the world, Caspersen Beach where you can sift and find shark teeth to take home as a souvenir. Not only is the laidback beach culture alive and thriving, you can also find lots of great shops and dining in downtown Venice as well as theatre and music performances both outdoors and indoors.

This property is chockfull of old Florida character, from the shutters to the colors throughout the home to the choice of furniture and bedding. After staying in the Florida Keys, we wanted to have a Florida cottage to call our own locally and wanted to share with our guests, where time stands a bit more still and you can put up your feet and relax. This particular home is adjacent to a vibrant shopping area that includes all sorts of dining, cafes and shopping options just a minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for enjoying a stroll with sidewalks throughout.
