Perfect location in the heart of Barcelona

My husband and I stayed here six days and had a fabulous time. The location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of the city, one block from Las Ramblas and a quick walk to the metro. The apartment is simple (no microwave, no tv) but you don’t come to Barcelona to watch tv and heat up food in a microwave! Lots of amazing restaurants and bars all around. Justin and his team were very helpful and accommodating with check in and throughout our stay. We visited during an oppressive heat wave. There is one fan in the apartment. The second day we asked if we could have another fan and Justin had it in the apartment before we got back from the beach. If you’re looking for a simple great place to stay while enjoying Barcelona, this is it!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in early August. The location was excellent but there are some major things that are left to be desired. Firstly, the check-in process. When we booked (in April) we had asked for an early check-in and the property manager had said he would try, but that the earliest would be 2pm. The day of check-in I messaged him at 2pm and he told me he’d get back to me when the cleaner was done. By 4pm he said that the cleaner was finished and that she would let us in and to meet her at X address. This is NOT the address listed on VRBO and I was worried because the address he sent me was not even on a building. While we tried to figure out where to go, or see if anyone was looking for us, no one came out of the door. The PM called me from a different number, saying that his phone died and that the cleaner was waiting for us. She eventually appeared and spoke zero English, which made things addedly difficult. The second issue: the listing photos do not match reality, in particular the bathroom, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Thirdly, the “air conditioner” despite being listed, did not exist. When I mentioned this to the PM he sent me a screenshot of the lisiting, but I am SURE that it had been changed very recently. It mentioned there being two fans as “a/c” but a previous review from the summer said they had had only one fan and were brought the second one during their stay. The little touches that make a stay 5 stars were non existent.

Schöner Barcelona Urlaub

Der Urlaub war super schön!! Die Unterkunft haben wir extrem einfach gefunden. Justin war direkt vor Ort um uns den Schlüssel zu geben, sowie eine kurze Einführung in die Wohnung im Herzen Barcelonas. Kommen gerne wieder
