Nice location and size

The property was a great size! With two living spaces and lots of bedrooms this worked great for our multigenerational family. The property was slightly more run down than expected and there were bugs. I know it’s Florida but supplying bug spray would be nice. There was a lack of towels and with the dryer not working, we weren’t able to do laundry or dry out after an afternoon monsoon. Overall it was solidly a 4 out of 5!

Lots of room and a great location

This was a big house with more then enough room for all of my family. There were small things wrong such as lots of little bugs (It's Florida, it happens) and the pool turning green overnight, but the owners were VERY responsive when I contacted them about it which I appreciated. We loved sitting outside by the pool and just soaking in the Florida sunshine. This could be a super nice property if a little money was thrown in to do some updates but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The main resort pool was a highlight of our trip!

Christmas vacation

Two families with adult children celebrated the holidays at this home. Lots of rooms and bathroom for everyone to have their own space. The home was clean, but needs a little tlc. We had chosen to have the pool heated and the bbq. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai. The pool night lights were burnt out. We had planned a pool tournament, but the pool table was broken and unusable. The location was great between golf courses and parks, This is a quiet secure neighbourhood. Overall, convenient, great space, but requires a little attention to details.

We will be staying here again

The house was great. Very beautiful only a couple miles from Disney. The people at the gates are very friendly. The pool and game room are amazing.

Excellent vacation home

Convenient central location. This is a beautiful spacious home in a gated community with wonderful amenities. Owners are accessible and respond quickly to any questions you may have. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again and would highly recommend for all ages.

The house was about what we expected.

This home looks exactly as it is depicted in the pictures online. It was absolutely beautiful, and perfect for our family trip. There was something for everyone in the home, and we never had a dull moment. We had a great experience and would consider coming back.

Great pool and hot tub! Lots of space for 14!

The home is in a lovely community about a 15 minute drive from the Disney Parks. Home is clean and well kept with lots of room for 14. We paid extra for the heated pool and hot tub which was thoroughly enjoyed after our long days walking through Disney parks. Home is close to variety of restaurants and shopping including Downtown Disney. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Vacation!

The house is great! We had a total of 9 family members staying at the house and had plenty of room for everyone. Nice family room, eating area, and the bedrooms looked just like the pictures on the site. Pool area was great too! Worked with the property management company to have a grill delivered and it was there upon our arrival. No complaints!

Beautiful home

Our group of 11 guests had a wonderful time in this home. It was exactly as advertised and well-appointed. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and spa every day. The resort was fairly crowded since it was spring break but we figured out that if we went to the community pool area after 2pm there were plenty of seats. Despite it being busy, we didn't have any issues with noise. Plenty of stores and restaurants within a short drive. We would happily stay here again.

Orlando experience

The house is in a perfect location, so close to all of the parks and many other attractions. The house itself is nice with a few minor upgrades needed. Everyone was very nice beginning at the security gate. We had no issues at all even for our visitors.

This is our 4th time staying at Windsor Hills. We absolutely love the property. Things we liked about this house were: layout, location, pool, kitchen supplies, comfort of beds. Areas for improvement are: white leather couch (top is very worn), carpet is dirty and coming up in a few spots, showers were old and somewhat stained.

Cold Week in FL

We enjoyed the house and the warm spa. Spent most of our time at Disney. The weather was unusually cold and we needed heat in the house - the thermostat did not seem to understand. Everything else was great, with the exception of the Dryer not working.

Our stay

Our stay was great. It was very close to Disney and Universal plus stores. The pool was wonderful and we are so glad we paid for the extra heat in the hot tub. It was lovely. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning felt great. We were a bit disappointed that the game room had a broken air hockey table and foose ball table. Also the dishwasher leaked a little in the floor and there was a large broken tile in the kitchen right as you walked in from the pool.

Disney Vacation 2016

The location was incredibly close to Disney, about a 10 minute drive. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. One of the 5 bedrooms was convenient (downstairs) for a person that can't easily go up and down stairs. Especially appealing the pool area was enclosed with a child proof entrance. Amenities were nice. The property was clean and well- maintained. The air conditioner did go out on our last night however it was repaired the same day we called. I would highly recommend this unit to friends and relatives. The price was very reasonable and will stay there again in 3-5 years.

Okay.

All in all our stay was enjoyable. Arrived to find someone else’s items on the counter and in the refrigerator. Seemed a little odd. We confirmed with property manager we were the only people staying at the rental. Furniture will probably need to be upgraded soon. Looking a little worn. There were a few worms from the trees inside the house, not a big deal, but might get a handyman out to make sure doors and windows are sealed better. House was clean and comfortable.

Great vacation and home

We had a very good experience at this home. It was well furnished. It had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. It was very close to the parks. The pool was great for the kids to play in. I'm glad we had it heated for this time of year. We would definitely rent again in the future. The only negative thing to say was when we arrived at the home at 4 pm, our check in time, the cleaning service was still there and told us the floors were wet. It is not a big deal and not the fault of the owner but the cleaning crew should have the home ready for when the family arrives. Thank you Frank and Winnie for renting your home to us. We made lots of great memories with our kids. Our girls especially enjoyed the Frozen room.

Loved home, great location!

We had a great time in a beautiful house. It was clean and reflected the pictures posted online. There was plenty of space and everyone enjoyed different details. The games room was very complete and the 2 themed rooms were loved by our kids. The pool gets great sun coverage and that is a huge benefit. We paid for pool heat. It’s great value if you plan to use the private pool . There were alot of nice extras such as baby stuff. All the electronics were new and that's always good! The location is great.. a very short walk to the park and a very reasonable walk to the community pool. There are no neighbors in the back and that was a nice feature too. I would highly recommend this house to all of you.

Family getaway

We loved the location and the resort amenities of Windsor Hills. Very quite spot with easy access to Disney. The house was fine, very big and accommodated our family well. The beds were comfortable and the home was fairly clean. The pool was a little dirty upon arrival but that could be due to several tears in the screen of the lanai. Given it was December we did pay to heat the pool, which made the pool very warm and nice! The house is outdated and needs a fair amount of maintenance TLC in some areas. Bring your own kitchen towels and pot holders as there are none. We did however have a very hard time reaching anyone with issues and questions we had concerning the home with the property management company. They responded to us but the day after we had already checked out.

Lovely furniture, beautiful bedrooms, spacious for large families, absolutely wonderful!

This was a beautiful property to accommodate our family of 13. Very tastefully decorated and the bedrooms are spacious. Our granddaughters especially loved the "Frozen" bedroom. The close proximity to the Disney Parks made it very easy for us to get back and forth having three cars traveling together. A TARGET and Publix grocery store are so close we were able to stock up on food to cook some meals at the house and take snacks to the parks. We had the pool heated, and it was perfect for the days we didn't go to a Disney Park, or for a relaxing swim in the evening when we got home. Our four little grandchildren (two 4 year olds, and two 1 year olds) loved the water! The neighborhood is lovely for walking, and a nice playground for the kids. Seeing a little bit of the Disney fireworks at night from the pool was an added plus. This property is clean, well stocked with dishes, towels, washer and dryer, everything to make your stay comfortable. This was a vacation of a lifetime for our entire family (our four children, their spouses, and our grandchildren) and to be able to be together all in one space was terrific! If we ever have the opportunity to visit WDW again as a family, we could consider this property without hesitation.

Book a different house. The games that are advertised, none of them work. The grill that is advertised for a fee, is a tailgate grill that you could buy for 50 much less rent for 90. We found ants in all but one room in the house, most were in the kitchen and had to throw out food because of them. One of the counters in the kitchen was wobbly to the point it was about to fall and was a safety concern. The fire extinguishers were on the floor in the pantry as their holders had been ripped out of wall and instead of repairing them just throw in the pantry. The house had not been cleaned. Multiple sets of sheets were not clean. There were hair balls in the showers. Crackers were on the window sills behind the curtains that were never moved, did I mention the ants. The laminate floor was coming up on the stairs and had been duck taped in several spots, but there was a still a spot that was no taped and tripped several of us as we come down the stairs. This house needs major repair. Bottom line, it is not safe nor clean. They did give us a small refund but no where near what was warranted. There was also nothing beyond the bare minimums. Usually a VRBO has what a normal house does, this house has very little. Good luck finding towels to go down to the pool at the center of the neighborhood, we had to buy some. The location is great, just find another house in this area that is safe and has been cleaned to enjoy your Disney vacation.

Beautiful House, Fantastic Location, Great Service

We have been to orlando every other year for the last 10 years and stayed in several different property's but this is by far the best place we have stayed that's why I would look for large vacation home with good location. This property is in Windsor Hills, which has easy access on to the I 4 and all the parks and shopping centres. Windsor hills estate is beautiful, it has a security on the front gates 24/7 all the houses, gardens and roads are extremely well maintained. The house it's self is fantastic, the pictures don't do it justice. It has a very private pool backyard with only one house next to it. The pool is lovely and has sun on it most of the day. the house is large and spotless clean with loads of soft towel in all bathrooms. The bedrooms are clean and well decorated, the mattress is very comfortable. the kitchen has every thing you need if you wanted to cook a full dinner ( we ate out every night! ) everything is well maintained and if you do have any problems/ questions the property manager is only at the end of the phone. It really is a home from home. The owner is very helpful to answer every questions we had. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants a great holiday and will be return next year.
