En bilresa till flera bilar leder till ytterdörren till självhushåll Villa AL BAHR. Det finns 3 tvåbäddsrum (bottenvåningen), två med eget badrum. Gå in i korridoren leder en valv och tre trappsteg in i loungen med tillgång till en terrass, med en fantastisk utsikt över havet. Bortom loungen finns matsalen som ligger åtta, med havsutsikt runt omkring.
Utanför finns det en täckt matterrass med havsutsikt där du kan njuta av en romantisk middag / familjemiddag medan du tittar på den vackra solnedgången. Denna terrass leder till den inhägnade och grindiga saltvattenpoolen med frisk vattendusch, med grillen till ena sidan.
Trädgården på 800m2 inbjuder dig att sola och spela en ping-pong-matchen i vårt bord. Det är fullt av färgglada växter och buskar.

The villa is ideally situated within an easy stroll into the town centre where there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. The pool is amazing and was enjoyed by all. The villa itself had everything you could need and was even better than expected. The owner was very attentive and when needed to be contacted was very quick in responding.

Returning family trip, to villa al bahr

We stayed at villa al bahr , in 2023 & returned again in June 2025. On both occasions we would rate the villa to be an excellent accomodation for a family ( 5 adults, 1 child & 1 baby ). It has everything that you need, with the added bonus of panoramic sea views from most areas of the villa

What an amazing location and wonderful house. Communication with the host was prompt. Cleanliness of the house was wonderful. I come back here every day of the week if I could.

Family Vacation in Algarve

This Villa was remarkable. The sightline of the ocean was breathtaking. Located close to the city centre, with a short walk to the Algreco Caves, boardwalk, restaurants (Primavera for supper, and Earth Cafe for breakfast/gluten free are must visits), and a great playground just down the road overlooking the ocean just 3 minute walk down the street. Bonus was finding the hike aling the cliffside, just to the East of the Villa. Overall, our family enjoyed this place greatly. The young and old loved the pool, and the bedrooms were great for our party of 6. The beach was a 10 minute walk away, amd was a huge hit with the kids, as well.House check-in was one of the easiest I have had, which we greatly appreciated. Fran and Luis were also very responsive.Thanks again for having us, Fran/Luis. We look forward to coming back sometime in the future!

Had a really great stay here with the family. Can’t fault the place. Would love to go back and plan to. Communication with host was spot on. The views from the upstairs terrace are spectacular.

3rd time at Villa Al Bahr!

Best location in town, panoramic sea views, bars, restaurant and beach a short walk but still quiet and peaceful. Plenty of inside and outside space and we all loved our holiday! Age range 3 years to 63. Pool is fantastic, villa is well equipped. Carvoeiro beautiful as always.

Best location in Carvoeiro

The pool was excellent and unusually large. We had it heated which just made it perfect. The naya was perfectly placed to sit and relax out of the sun, but still have a great view. The villa was nice and spacious although to be honest we spent little time inside. The beds were comfortable enough and the showers were nicely powerful. The villa manager Fran was very nice and helpful. I short its an excellent villa and thoroughly recommended

First visit to southern Portugal

This house is in the most amazing location to the city center and it was more than we had expected! Restaurants, shopping and the beach all a short walk. The vacation was one of the most amazing ones we have had and we will be back to Carvoeiro! We did decide to pay to have the pool heated after a couple days which made it so much better.

Stunning!

Beautiful spacious villa set on a large plot with the most stunning views! We’ve been coming to Carvoeiro for 9 years and have admired this villa on many occasions during our walks along the boardwalk, so were delighted to be able to stay in it. Well equipped villa full of character, just a short stroll from restaurants and other amenities. Communication from the owners was first class. We absolutely would return to Villa Al Bahr!

The pool is amazing - pictures don't do it justice! The property is well located and well resourced. It seems like a well-loved family home rather than a minimalist, modern villa. We loved it and had a fabulous time!

Relaxing in Portugal

This property was exactly what we wanted it to be. A home with a heated pool overlooking the ocean. We walked to shopping and restaurants. The home had the best location and had anything you could want in a vacation home. They made it very easy to check in and check out. Great communication. We would definitely stay there again.

WOW - Location Location Location

We stayed at the Al Bahr Villa for a week in October (2 couples). We toured all over the Algarve, but could not find a better location than this villa in Carvoeiro. Not only was Carvoeiro perfect, but the vllla was located next to the board walk with easy hikes along the coast. But also easy walks to any shop/restaurant within Carvoeiro. Communication with host was very quick and super helpful. They even allowed us a late checkout so we could enjoy our last day at this beautiful place. The pictures in the listing could be better as we found the Villa to be much nicer in person. The pool, the view, the sunsets - a very memorable vacation with friends. When we go back to vacation in the Algarve, this will be the place!!!

Beautiful amazing place

It was a perfect home for our group. We enjoyed the location most of all. Boardwalk was fantastic. The start of amazing trails within a 10 minutes. The pool made the stay extra special, with a million dollar view. Ample supplies in the kitchen, clean, spacious and authentic decor. The town has many restaurants and food markets within walking distance. The main grocery store is a 7 minute car ride. Our 7 days in the Algarves were spectacular.

Location,location,location

Our family holiday stay at villa al bahr, exceeded all expectations. The villa is in a perfect location, with panoramic sea views from most areas of the villa. The villa & grounds are very spacious, the pictures on the website, although great, could show off the property even more, with some additional pictures. ( pics of terraced areas, flower borders, swimming pool lit at night, etc ) We would defiantly return to villa al bahr. It was perfect for our special family holiday. perfect for

VIP Villa - 5*

What a charming villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - sitting by the pool with the ocean view you can feel like a VIP for a short while. It is everything the pictures show and the 5* reviews are well deserved. The only thing I would ask for is more mugs/cups for tea and coffee - but there are enough glasses for an army!!! It is so well placed for walking into town, the beach or the slightly out of centre restaurants. We parked the car up and only used it for the supermarket! We had a couple of minor questions and the owners responded straight away. it’s a fantastic family home that our family were privileged to share - thank you so much and I hope we can visit again soon.

Perfect family holiday

Villa Al Bahr is in a stunning location, alongside the boardwalk in Carvoeiro, and only a short, and very pleasant walk from the town and the beach. It has everything you could want for a perfect family holiday. We were four adults and two young children (6 & 4). The pool, which we had heated, is fantastic and the villa has plenty of space so you never feel on top of one another. Plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance and, important when you have young children, the Portuguese eat early in the evening! The villa is all on one level, other than 3 steps down into the lounge, and is suitable for guests with minor mobility issues.

Perfect location!

The location is so amazing! Central/close to everything (boardwalk, restaurants, etc), spectacular views, beautiful and very clean pool. Kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms/showers updated with great shower heads. The beds were quite firm for us, but this might be a Portuguese norm as our next hotel was the same. The property management was outstanding. We locked ourselves out right after arriving and they rescued us within 15 minutes and were so kind about it! So impressive! Only complaint was the washing machine was only a washer (no dryer) so a bit inconvenient with wet swim clothes towels etc. Clothes drying rack is available though.

good location

We stayed here for three nights. The inside of the house was not overly comfortable - beds were old and "rustic," the linens as well, and they only gave us one very dingy towel per person; there was also a strong smell of sewage when we entered the house which dissipated about 90% after the caretaker poured water in a drain in the hall closet; however a little bit of it lingered throughout our stay. The bathtub/shower drain was slow and the housekeeper eventually came to try to fix it (showing up at 6:45 in the evening); however she just poured drano in it rather than snaking it and it did not improve. However, the living room area was comfortable and nice, and the outside parts of the house were terrific - pool and patios were great, and the landscaping was beautiful. The location is also very good - about a pleasant 10 minute walk down to the beach, and less than 5 minutes to some good restaurants. There is some car and pedestrian traffic that you can hear going by on the street outside, but it did not bother us. The caretaker iterated that we should keep everything locked and use the alarm when we were out and at night - however there are security shutters that stay locked but still let some light and air in, which was nice. The caretaker said they are planning to renovate the bathrooms after the season is over. If they do that and upgrade the beds and linens, this would be a very nice place to stay.

Geweldig

We hebben genoten van het zwembad, het uitzicht op de oceaan en de bijzondere locatie zo vlakbij de rotsformaties die een wereld wonder zijn. Enige nadeel is dat de bedden erg hard zijn. Bedankt voor alles!
