I can’t say enough great things about Flippers Lagoon. The house is absolutely amazing. We lived in the pool. The lagoon was so much fun and the views were breathtaking. The kitchen had so many appliances and utensils there was not one time we were wishing we had something because they had it all. We are already planning our next trip back!

We had a great time at Flipper’s Lagoon! It fit our family of 7 perfectly! Location was great! The view was great! My boys really enjoyed fishing off the dock. The pool and outside seating was perfect! Mallory and Riley went above and beyond with anything we needed! I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Great view. Very clean. Kids loved the pool and looking at wildlife in the lagoon. We loved kayaking off the dock. Loved covered patio and outside dining. Some construction next door but not overly loud. The A/C went out and Mallory was very responsive. It couldn't be repaired quickly so we moved to a different property.

This was by far the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. The views are amazing! The only negative is the pool temperature. They do not allow you to change it below 94 degrees. That was just not refreshing at all. But that is the only negative about this place. Can’t wait to book again!!

The management team was great. Needed them several times throughout our stay and they were very fast in their responses.The screened lanai was the area we used the most. Of course the grandkids would argue the pool was the greatest along with all the fishing that was done.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a fantastic place for the 5 of us. The back yard has an amazing view of the ocean and great amenities if you’re into fishing like a private dock and a fish cleaning station. We caught Mangrove Snappers, Grouper, Nurse Sharks and a Tarpon all from the dock. The rooms are big, the kitchen is great, and the staff was fantastic to work with. I will definitely be staying there again.

A slice of paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was everything it was described to be. The water views are absolutely beautiful. Shining a light in the lagoon at night, showed all the activity that takes place there. We counted 3 lobster walking around. The accommodations were excellent. The property description and photos were everything as described.

Amazing vacation in paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this home in Marathon for the 12th year, and it never disappoints. It is the most beautiful location, with a pool, lagoon, and access to the Gulf of Mexico in your own backyard. The property is large enough that three generations can enjoy their time together but also have their own space. The new management was so friendly and responsive, and when questions arose, they responded extremely promptly and helpfully. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. We have enjoyed this property for years and hope to do so for years to come!

We vacationed here for 2 week and had a very relaxing time. The construction noise at the sides of the home were “there” but minimal disturbances. Location was great. Publix’s & Food City are minutes away. Hosts were very attentive to all questions. Sunrise and sunsets from the dock were beautiful. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. They provided the soaps, lotion, paper products and most all those type products for the few days until we could make a list and get to the store. We didn’t need the suite outback but it was cute. Parking was not a problem. The screen lanai area was our favorite place to hang out. The pool was cool, clean and refreshing. The lagoon was interesting and teaming with jellyfish, clams and schools of baby fish. We weren’t blessed enough to see other saltwater creatures. I personally wouldn’t swim in it, but I suppose you could. We used it for the canoes. We enjoyed walking around it multiple times per day to see what we could find. Because it’s a lagoon it has a backup of sea grass. It doesn’t get drained and cleaned out every night. It’s not an open water beach with blue ocean waves so it’s better not to expect that or you will be disappointed. I was the only fisher person in our group but I didn’t have much luck “catching” the fish. I know they were out there they were just smarter than me. And it was HOT in that sun! Take your sunscreen!! There was a bait freezer in the garage. I used that a lot!

Gillade: Kommunikation och plats

The view was beautiful and the kids loved fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool!! The house needs some tlc !! Such as all the light need to be checked to make sure they are working order all the plugs. Need to be checked to make sure they are working order one in the kitchen. We only have one outlet. The main house was cool but the bedrooms were a little warm in the main house.The guest house was nice except for the air conditioning wasn’t working, but they finally got it fixed after three and a half days.Mallory tried her best to do what she could do to help us. Stay cool overall the house was a very good location to go to Key West for the day. They were very nice and compensating us for those days. The showers need a little TLC as well. There were some mold growing in the main house, shower and soap scum on some walls. but that is stuff that can be fixed. Also, the pool did not have a pool light. It was out and that’s also something that could be fixed. There are lights around the outside of the house that needed to be fixed but if you’re not worried about any and dad small things like that in this house is for you the extra refrigerator in the garage wasn’t working properly. There were fishing poles for everybody to use for fishing, which was great. They had fishing tackle and everything you needed except for the bait which they do have a bait freezer, which was really nice to have overall are staying with some more pleasant! Also the lagoon was bad and gross!!

Fantastic Vacation Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lagoon house was fantastic place for our adult family reunion. The huge yard and multiple outdoor seating areas were great for relaxing with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The kitchen, living room, and screened porch comprised a huge common area that was great for hanging out together and for family meals. Having all the recreational equipment provided was super convenient, so we didn’t have to worry about renting bikes, kayaks, pool floats, snorkel gear, etc. The boat dock was more than large enough to accommodate the 24 ft boat we had with us and the water is deep enough even at low tide to have easy access. The house is mid-way between Vaca Cut and the 7-mile bridge, which made it easy to get anywhere by boat or by car. We’ve been coming to the keys for decades and this house is a perfect combination of old Keys charm with modern amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Great house, great pool. Needs dock lights. The lagoon smells due to algae. It needs to be cleaned for any snorkeling or kayaking. Unable to use this feature, that was disappointing
