Communication was very good and we appreciated that the room was pet friendly. However the building was in bad condition and the rooms had a heavy smoke and mold smell.

Check in was easy, place looked clean on the surface, I had to shut off the AC and sleep with a stun gun because there were people outside my window smoking drugs at night. The entire building reeked of really strong marijuana, I had to put a towel under the door like a motel.

Room was clean, but clearly had years of smokers in it. Reeked of cigarettes. Didn't stay, left immediately. Appeared clean, and good layout with lots of amenities. Wished it could have worked out. Owner was very responsive. Easy check-in.

I stayed only one night. The smell of cat pee upon entering the apartment building is very strong and although less in the apartment, it’s very noticeable and I had a headache and was stuffed up by the time I left in the morning and all of my stuff smelled like it. There were smallish bugs in the kitchen area and bathroom and I saw a larger bug of some kind by the stove. There was an open bag of cereal in a cupboard and an open bag of pet food under the sink. The bed linens and towels smelled clean and the bathroom looked clean, but there was a water glass stain on the bedside table and the coffee maker/kurig was dusty and the floors were gritty with various short black hairs around, this is a pet friendly apartment but it seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed. During the night there was a loud bonging noise that happened 3 or 4 times around 3:30am that seemed to come from inside the building somewhere. Upon arrival, I had to call the host about how to open the apartment door and she got back to me promptly but pre-arrival information about how to enter the apartment would be helpful. I can’t give this place a good review.

Nice little apartment that fit our needs prefect for going to a concert in Clear Lake. My suggestion would be to do a little cleaning in the entrance and hallway to make a better first impression. Also a hair dryer would be nice.

I always like staying here. My only complaint is that it smelled of "old" cooking oder. It may have been closed up for a while so no fresh air was available or it may have been coming from one of the other units. This is the first time I have ever noticed an unpleasant odor.Otherwise all was great.
