Hus med privatliv! Inuti är allt tall, odört, bambu, hickory och kakel. Sängarna är specialtillverkade från Vermont furu och ceder. Matsal bord är skräddarsydd från tjocka tall och ceder ben. Denna North Hero semester orienterad vattnet hem ligger vid slutet av en privat väg. Stor bakgård med flera äppelträd och öppna ytor.

Huset ritades in för att se ut som en Post & Beam hem. Väggarna och taket är alla furubräder. Stora strålar omfattar stora rum, kök, veranda och täckt däck. Den stora rum har en tiki bar och skräddarsydd furu matsal bord med cederträ ben.

Golv görs i bambu, breda furubräder, skiffer kakel och gammalt trä konstruktion kakel.

Sjösättning och Trailer lagring: båten lanseringen är ett delat land sjösättning på fastigheten.

Om du funderar på att fiska från land hittar du ett stort utbud av sunfish, abborre, rock bas, crappies och en och annan bas eller norra. För dem som vill kajak eller kanot i området är vackert skyddad från vind och djurlivet är rikligt!

Beautiful property and home!

I stayed here with my family for a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The views of the lake are far more beautiful than the pictures show! The property is gorgeous, and the home is clean with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the dock area and deck most of all. The homeowners were communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and host.

Wonderful Vacation Property

Mary and Larry have created a lovely lakefront vacation property. The house is spacious and well-appointed, and worked perfectly for our group. We loved the large deck and especially appreciated the covered section that let us be outside even when it rained. We will be back!

Amazing camp

We loved everything about the camp and grounds. Our only disappointment was that you are not allowed to have more than 2 day guests. We were hoping for a family barbeque for relatives who live in the area.

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Lake Champlain. The sun rises and sun sets were incredible. The fishing was great and the lake was warm enough for swimming. The owner of the property was gracious and cordial. The home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family/group.

Another great week at North Hero.

The house is great. Rooms spacious. The kitchen, dining, & relax area are on1 floor. Comfortable bedrooms are below and quite lovely. There is a bunk room on the 3rd floor, but we didn't have children with us on this trip.

Paradise on the lake!!!

So much more that we expected!! The house has so much space, great location, beautiful views and property. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and a large pantry to store the essentials. The showers had great water pressure which is always a plus. The bar area added a nice space to serve drinks of your choice! Larry and Mary were wonderful to deal with and very responsive . We will definitely be looking to go back!!

Great House on the Lake

This home is spacious and quiet with all the amenities. It is located on the lake with few other houses. We spent much of our time on the large decks watching the lake and the ever changing sky. The house itself has good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen that opens onto a dinning/living room. There is a cute bar set up in the living room as well. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and biking. We fully recommend this home & location for a lovely Lake Champlain get away.

AWESOME WEEK

WE RENTED BOTH HOUSES, HAD 11 MEN FOR 4 DAYS FOLLOWED BY 4 COUPLES FOR THE REMAINING 3 DAYS AND BETWEEN BOTH HOMES THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND HAVING A BOAT RAMP ON PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT AND GOOD DOCKS. WE WILL BE RETURNING FOR SURE! THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THE AC IN THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM WOULD NOT KEEP UP, COULDN'T GET IT BELOW 81 DEGREES SO NO ONE COULD SLEEP UPSTAIRS.

As Good as it Gets

You know those vacation properties where you get there and the house isn't half as nice as the pictures looked? Or the grill doesn't work and the owner is nowhere to be found? Well this is definitely NOT that property! The house was amazing, every bit as beautiful as the photos, the location perfect, and the owners made themselves available throughout the booking and our stay to answer all.of our questions. Top notch property, great hosts, a wonderful vacation!

What a great lake house!

We have stayed at a lot of places on HomeAway and this was one of the best so far. The location is beautiful and the only noise you ever hear are boats going past the house. The house is very spacious, everything is in great shape and very clean. All the bedrooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The walk in pantry is also very nice. My favorite part of the house was the deck over looking the lake. In the morning we loved sitting out on the deck reading and drinking our coffee and watching the boats go by, at dinner time we grilled out on the deck, and at the end of the day watched the sunsets. The wood dock was very nice and the location was very good for fishing. We made a day trip to Montreal which was a lot of fun and spent a lot of time out on our boat fishing and water skiing. We drove our boat to the Steamship Pier (North Hero House) and had a very nice lunch one day. Great place to spend a week with the family!

What a view!!

We arrived with Larry helping direct us to get the boats in the water. His wife stopped by midweek to make sure the internet was working okay, another property had an issue. There was a wonderfully thoughtful welcome basket with snacks. Every bed room is huge. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need to cook all of your meals. The beds are very comfortable. The house is all wood inside, so noise carries, but we ran the window ac on fan only to help lessen the noise when sleeping. We loved having a washer and dryer to use. There were 8 of us, 4 couples. We never felt too close. There is so much room. We loved having a boat ramp and dock on property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week!!

Lake Champlain Stay

Our group had a great time at Larry's property! The place was very clean and lots of thoughtful items including a welcome basket, tips on restaurants, and all the extra amenities we needed for a great time. Really couldn't have asked for a better set up to make this a memorable trip. Lot's of room inside and out and gorgeous views of the Lake! We will be back for sure!

Multigenerational family vacation on the lake

Multigenerational family - Nana, Mom & Dad , 3 young adult children with their significant others. We enjoyed cooking, dining and playing games in the open living space with Olympic Games as a backdrop on the large television. Plenty of space for togetherness and privacy depending on needs and wants. Beautiful, peaceful setting with magnificent sunsets.

Beautiful Home on the water

We spent a great week and enjoyed all the standard New England Weather, hot, cold, sun, rain. The house was fantastic for all conditions. There is plenty of room inside the beautiful wood furnished home. Outside, there is a huge yard, and the lake was shallow so we could walk out in the water during the day, and enjoy the firepit at night. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the back, looking out to the water. It is covered and gave us the ability to sit outside during the rain.

Mary is a retired school teacher. I'm an airline pilot flying the B-787 as a Captain in the Pacific and Atlantic routes.

I'm also an avid Sea Plane pilot and own one. We explore remote locations and waterfront lodges and restaurants with it.

We also enjoy boating on Lake Champlain and the Gulf Coast of Florida.

When we vacation we usually rent homes that we find through Homeaway. This has allowed us to be on both sides of renting a vacation home for a week. We have tried to add and design what we would want into our vacation homes. Please check out our other property which is listed in the notes. #135449
