Sadly a less than delightful experience

Sadly I cannot say we had that “ nothing short of delightful” experience described.Although the cabin is lovely there were many issues top among them is their one key situation , unclear instructions, and problems opening the side door, very poor wi-fi so no calls as there’s no cell service either. There is a land phone that has no dial tone and says no line.. there were instructions for how to leave the tv remotes upon checkout but none for the tv itself..Host is unhelpful and dishonest. Tried charging a lock out fee when she did not help us get back in, thankfully about 3.5 hrs later the lovely cleaning lady showed up to clean the other unit and helped us. Unfortunately my daughter and her 3 children were stuck out in the heat for a long time and missed the family wedding ceremony!VRBO cancelled this fee.Changing locks to all codes would be smart!Host also tried to charge for 2 additional people when I stated how many when I booked AND the listing says sleeps 6, thankfully VRBO cancelled this fee.Everything was clean except the living room floor seemed to have been mopped with mop& glow and dirty water. I wiped the whole living room floor with paper towels.Expect a strong sulfuric odor and sputtering from all facets. If you need to plug in to shave or use a hot iron you’d best just use the outlets in the bedrooms as bathroom is difficult to plug into.I hate to write this poor review, cottage could be amazing if it had a host who cared about details..

Nice Cabin/Great Location

Great location. Great hiking in the area. The Catskill Scenic Trail in Great Gorge was real nice. Cabin was spotless. Close to Margaretville and Roxbury.

Christmas Break Stay

Tranquil Twins was a great stay for my daughters and I during ou Christmas Break. We all enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage. My girls love skiing Belleayre and even when they may be late to riise…. We can be at the mountain in 12 minutes door to door. The place was clean and cozy. We would definitely stay again

This cabin was wonderful! We loved our stay and everything about thr place and surroundings. I just wosh the TVs in the bedrooms could receive some cable channels or have roku work on them like the TV in main living room.
