Nestled in a wooded setting, this sweet little "camp" is the perfect getaway for those looking to truly escape and enjoy Acadia's sights and sounds while enjoying proximity to village shops and restaurants. The house is recently redecorated and enjoys all new mattresses and updated house wares in its comfortable spaces! Don't let the understated exterior fool you - this home is a cozy and attractive retreat! When not out adventuring, you can relax in complete solitude under the canopy of pines where the only sounds come from peepers and bullfrogs, thrushes, and distant loons.

FIRST FLOOR: Enter from the side deck into a combined Living/Kitchen/Dining space. A new comfortable sofa opens into a queen bed if needed, a wood stove, and a Dining table seats five. The kitchen is small but serviceable! Primary Bedroom with King Bed. Full Bath with combined tub and shower.

SECOND FLOOR: Lofted to the Living Room below, the second-floor Bedroom features two double beds.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Accessed from the Living Room, a small furnished deck with a propane grill, offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the surrounding woods.

Cozy, quiet and great location

This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s quiet and at night the stars and planets glisten. Bring bottled water for drinking.

Cabin in Woods

We very much enjoyed our stay. Spent 4 nights and it had everything we needed. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but towels nice and soft. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to stay awhile.

Nice getaway

Great location near all the harbors. The quarry in the back of the property is breathtaking. Lots of trails and we even saw deer crossing the yard. Neighbor introduced himself and was very friendly and helpful with questions. Would recommend

Great family vacation

Perfect location for our family vacation to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The property is just far enough away from the crowdedness of Bar Harbor and just 20 minutes from Acadia and all the hiking/beauty. The house was big enough for our family of four. Very quiet/private area. Had a cabin like feel. We saw several deer. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend renting this great vacation get away house.

Everything As Expected; A Couple Needed Improvements

The location is ideal for all the touring we wanted to do. The cottage was deep in the woods; 100% privacy and so quiet you could hear a pine needle fall to the ground. Accommodations as advertised. Plenty of room and well equipped. Communication with “Marla” the agent, superb!! Accommodation needs a microwave and needs serious attention to internet connectivity. Had to reboot modem and router 3-4 times daily for a week. Not just WiFi issues, but the Spectrum cable service would shut off as well mid-show. The drinking water (and bathing water) is yellow. We were assured that the filters were recently changed but we chose to buy bottled water for the length of our stay. Can’t be 100% sure, but the cottage had a strong pervasive oder (I believe it’s the water) that we could not rid ourselves of. We burned wood each night in the wood-burning stove, but as soon as the delightful smell of burning wood dissipated, the foul oder returned and was at times overwhelming. Microwave, water and internet are relatively minor issues, but for a stay of a week, it became difficult to ignore these problems. Nonetheless, I would recommend this property and the agent Marla to all my friends. The issues I believe could be rectified easily.

Private and Accessible, if a bit Old-Fashioned

Great experience overall, nice private location that’s easy to get in and out of. Good location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Don’t know how well a larger group would fare as it was only me and my wife. Be aware there is no microwave, but there is great internet.
