We absolutely loved our stay! The fenced in area was our primary reason for choosing this property. The location was perfect for all of our hiking and dining needs. The house had everything we needed.

Southwest harbor is a great location for anyone looking to explore Acadia! The location of the property is beautiful (with fun wildlife and more) and enables quick access to all parts of the park on Mt. Desert Island. Property was immaculate, and centrally located. The lovely hosts had great instructions for check in and check out. Definitely with a stay!

A little slice of heaven! Perfect space to relax and take in the peace and quiet of nature. We enjoyed our time in the home just as much as exploring all that Acadia had to offer. Would definitely come back again.

We’ve stayed in Southwest Harbor in the past and love it. We loved that this space was walkable to town and the best part was being able to bring our pup! The space was fabulous in size and accommodations and the fenced in yard gave us such peace of mind with our dog in a place that’s not our home. It was so peaceful being able to sleep with the windows open and the quiet area. We met Ashley on arrival and she was so kind and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this space and hope to stay here again in the future

The location in Southwest Harbor can’t be beat. My husband remarked “we are driving less” as we are discovering so much to do on this side of the island - the quiet side. We had another great visit and the dogs consider it their 2nd home

Ashley’s house was perfect for our family! Our son and dog felt right at home as soon as we arrive. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ a nice addition. The location couldn’t have been any better — and the stars from the back deck were amazing! Ashley’s communication was great too, and check-in / check-out very smooth. We would definitely come back if we have a chance

Wonderful Place!

Beautiful home that was just right for my two adult children and me. Great location and was set up beautifully for our dog that traveled with us. We enjoyed Southwest Harbor and easily made the trip into Acadia National Park each day we were there.

Great Acadia stay!

Beautiful house with plenty of room for two adults, two kids, and our Golden Retriever. Quiet neighborhood, but very close to restaurants and downtown including the Wendell Gilley Museum. We found hiking nearby, and Bar Harbor was only about 20 minutes away. We would stay here again!

Ocean breezes and Beautiful harbor views

Lovely home base for exploring the natural beauty of Acadia and Maine coastline. My dog loved the fenced, private backyard and I appreciated the pet friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Well appointed, and as described, but views and location surpassed expectations! I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home base to stay on Acadia for anyone with dogs. We were able to easily access all of Acadia, and the house is very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Amazing house near Acadia!

Perfect place to stay to see all the sights of Acadia and not far from Bar Harbor but none of the crowds! The house is extremely clean and a wonderful place to explore the island from. Would definitely recommend!

Great house for the family

We've stayed here a few times with our kids and dogs, and they all look forward to coming back again. Great location on the quiet side of the island, nice view of the harbor down the road, and a fenced in backyard for the dogs and kids to play in. An outstanding place to relax!
