Over all cleanliness was great. Beautiful home! It did have that old home smell. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Kitchen had all the amenities. Great location in town. Easy to find.

This house is perfect for our family of four! We came here for our nephew’s wedding, and we are so glad we chose to stay at Legacy! First, it’s located within a very short distance of the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier, which is completely gorgeous inside and out! The host made sure we were set up very well for our 4 night stay! If we needed something, it was on hand! Julie immediately responded to any questions we had. She even made sure we had coffee and filters so we could function!Kitchen: The entire house was incredibly clean—even the oven, and you know most rentals have ovens that look like they were used in frat houses. Not Julie’s! She also has many appliances and plenty of cookware to enjoy. Master bedroom: Let me tell you, the king bed is extremely comfortable! And Julie clearly put a lot of thought into the guests’ experiences. She even has rechargeable lights that are motion activated in the upstairs hall and bedroom. The shower pressure in the master shower is impressive! There is a window A/c unit to help keep the heat away. We totally needed it this weekend! The house is air conditioned, but since it is a historic home, the A/c has to run through the heating ducts, which means it isn’t as efficient as newer homes. The A/c worked well downstairs, and our teen sons were comfortable enough in their rooms. The W/D was great to have, and Julie provided detergent, which was a welcome surprise. We felt like we were staying in a friend’s home. Thanks, Julie!

Was there for the Mooklight Graham Classic. Convenient to every thing. Julie was a great hostess we had an issue was right there to correct the issue.Would definitely stay there again.

Great place

The house was very welcoming and perfect for our stay. The three bathrooms worked great for our group size. We liked the location downtown and quick access to any part of town. Host was super easy to communicate with on check-in process and any questions during the weekend. We will definitely stay again if availability next time we are in town.

Great Place for our Field of Dreams Experience!

The house was perfect for us. 4 adults & 2 9-year-old baseball players. Julie the host was so responsive and friendly. When I booked, she said I could ship baseball equipment to her & she would have it waiting at The Legacy for us! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and checking in and out was easy peasy! Highly recommend for any families coming for a Field of Dreams tournament (and our boys took 2nd place in 9U division, BTW)

Home Away From Home

This property exceded all of our expectations while in Dyersville for the Field of Dreams Tournament. The cleanliness, well thought out extras, beautiful eclectic decor and all the wonderful plants made us feel right at home. Julie was quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure we were enjoying our stay.Will definitely be recommending to other families in our baseball organization.

Comfortable and Convenient

I booked this house for its location and proximity to the baseball fields. My son was in a baseball tournament and rather than driving 45 minutes to/from Dubuque each day, we were minutes away from whatever field we had to go to. In addition to its great location, the house was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It also had every amenity needed in the kitchen and in the bathrooms (except hair conditioner-but I always bring my own) and lots of comfy spots to sit and relax. Julie was a great host and made every effort to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Julie!

Great experience

We were in town for a family function and the house was perfect. It gave us a gathering place for everyone to gather. The home is very nice and has a great small town historic feel. It was clean and had everything we needed.
