Love HMB and frequent the area every spring and fall for years. This is our second time renting from John and hope we continue to be able to in the future. Great house, meets all our needs, well stocked kitchen,comfortable beds, clean. Have stayed with our two children in years past and now just the two of us adults. Location is unmatched with great proximity to Poplar beach and the coastal path.

Property is super clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and conveniently located - about as close as you can get to coastal trails. I love walking while I’m there. Close enough to down town and shopping! This is my favorite beach getaway location!

We have stayed at this house several times and it's always great! It's literally the most user friendly vacation house I have ever used. The house is clean and well provisioned. The location is close to everything you want/need. We're already planning our next stay!

We had a wonderful time in Half Moon Bay. The house was in the perfect location - we loved walking and biking on the coastal trail to Pillar Point, walking to Main Street, visiting the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and of course eating lobster rolls at Sam’s. We’ll be back to bike more of the trails under the Redwoods :) Hosts and house were perfect for our family.

We love Half Moon Bay, and John and Cathy's place is perfect for us. It's clean, comfortable, safe and close to the beach. With all the amenities you could want, it's a wonderful rental place.

Walking distance to the Poplar Beach and the coast trail/bike path, close to the town, and some awesome hiking trails in the hills. Big enough for five of us to stop for a couple of nights, make couple of meals, and continue on our roadtrip.

Best place ever if you love the beach! Super close walk down the street at about 500 steps, and yes I counted. I have enjoyed John and Cathy’s HMB house multiple times. Great communication, clean, lots of room and close to old town on Main St. as well as a grocery store with organic and non dairy options. Overall, I keep coming back to this place for a reason:) There is a washer and dryer and plenty of cookware and it is bigger on the inside (IYKYK) ! It is close to the City and south to Santa Cruz. You can't go wrong with a visit here. I highly appreciate and recommend this home. KA

Another great stay

Had another wonderful time at the coast this time. House has anything we could want and an easy walk to the beach. Perfect place to stay when visiting family.

Great Half Moon Bay rental

Spacious clean home, nicely outfitted kitchen, full of supplies, easy check in, and in a fantastic location - short walk to ocean and very easy drive to downtown area of Half Moon Bay. Would certainly stay here next time visiting!

Everything we needed was there - all cooking and eating utensils and supplies. Also everything for the bath. The internet signal was strong. The beds were comfortable,. Also the host was easily reached and available. On top of all that, the house is just a block from an exquisite walk along the ocean
