We have a backup lockbox to ensure any smartlock malfunctions, if any especially in the middle of the night, do not affect your stay negatively. Technology can be tricky so having a back up plan is always a good idea ;-)

Andrea, so glad the setting and the lake's beauty came through for you, along with the privacy and character of the home. A quick note on the paddleboard — that one broke right before your arrival, which we let you know about, and it's since been fixed and back in use; unfortunately accidents do happen from time to time. Kayaks aren't part of what's listed or provided, though some guests do bring their own. And while attractions like Kennebunkport and Portland are about 30 minutes out, that puts the property in a great spot as a home base for exploring the area. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again!
