Detta välkomnande, bekväma och avskilda hem på tre nivåer byggdes 1988 och har en stor öppen planlösning med fantastisk västlig utsikt över Sugarbush South, Mt. Ellen, Mad River Glen och Camel Hump State Park. På bottenvåningen finns en dubbelsidig granit spis från golv till tak och katedraltak. Inkluderar ett fantastiskt omslagsdäck. Köket är fullt utrustat för alla stilar av matpreparat. Det finns ett sovrum med en queen size-säng och badrum på bottenvåningen också.
På bottenvåningen finns det fyra rymliga sovrum och två badrum. Två av sovrummen har dubbelsängar och två sovrum har två enkelsängar. Gå ut från två av sovrummen på den lägre nivån med imponerande utsikt över bergen.

Wonderful Sugarbush Property

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home! The highlight was the stunning fireplace, which became the heart of our gatherings each evening. The house was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our large group, and the beautiful cathedral ceilings added an elegant and airy touch to the space. To top it all off, the views were absolutely breathtaking, adding to the overall charm and tranquility of the property.The owner was fantastic to deal with—very friendly, responsive, and accommodating, which made the entire booking and stay stress-free.The only downside was that linens weren’t provided, which required some extra planning on our part. It would have been more convenient if they were included.Overall, we loved our experience and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy yet spacious retreat with amazing views!

Cozy ski cabin for college friend reunion

We had such a great time staying at this VRBO. It was great location to drive to Sugarbush, grab something at the grocery store or stop at Lawsons. Driveway is steep and needed to be plowed for us to get up, but a plow guy was very close by and able to do that for us within an hour. Very cozy cabin, great for big groups.

The upper floor was good, but the lower floor was stuffy, with bad beds and dirty mattresses. For its price, you would expect more.

Nice location for Sugarbush and other central Vermont sights!

Overall we were very happy with the house, especially the check in and out process. My only issue is the clarity of the online listing. When I selected this property I thought linens and towels were included based on a statement on the listing, but I apparently missed the smaller line on the room specific page that said they were not. We had to scramble before we left home to bring towels and sheets for our guests once I received the email from the host reminding us they weren't provided. I would recommend making the listing clearer that towels and sheets are NOT provided, up front and not buried in the listing. While it might be easy for people driving to bring these, it was a bit difficult for us given that we flew from Florida, and our guests came from Nebraska and Texas. Overall, it was great place to stay with incredible views of the Sugarbush ski slopes, and excellent centralized location. I would certainly stay here again!

Great spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenn's house. It worked very well for our family with four adult children and their partners. It was spacious, with great views of Sugarbush and Mount Ellen. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped.

Winter Stay

We had a great time staying here, it was super easy to access, and communicate with Glen. The driveway is steep so if you do not have a reliable car in the snow, be careful. The rooms were clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to fuel up before skiing. We built a fire and it was so coxy/relaxing. I would book here agin.

Beautiful ski house

We had such a nice stay here! The communication was great and the house is lovely. There is a huge fireplace that’s all set up and easy to use, beautiful views of the ski mountains, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had 8 adults all housed very comfortably, and we cooked several meals and enjoyed them together at the big table. The couch is super comfy, the sound system is a nice touch, and the dryer is clutch for wet ski clothes. We hesitated at first about having to bring our own linens, but it turned out to be easy and so worth it!

Lovely rustic house with beautiful views

Really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The location couldn't be better, with beautiful views from the picture windows in the living area and porch, and only ~10 minutes drive from town. The house comfortably fit the 8 of us (with room to spare), and Glenn communicated everything super clearly so we had everything we needed during our stay. The only suggestion I'd have is it'd be great if the house came with linens/towels and soap/shampoo. No fault of the current listing as it's clear these aren't offered (and Glenn sent a friendly reminder in advance) but it definitely made the stay a bit more challenging for us given we were all flying in from across the country. Overall had a great stay and would happily come back next time I'm in the area!

family vacation

Had a short but enjoyable family vacation at Glenn's property. Grandparents got the master suite and the rest of us were downstairs. It was very comfortable and the views are great! Waitsfield is conveniently located at the foot of the hill. The Von Trapp store sold local meat and cheese which was really cool. Glenn was accommodating with check in and check out times.

Perfect home

This house was perfect for us, we had a mix of adults (40s), young adults (early 20s), and young teens. The kitchen was well stocked with any pot, pan, or utensil we needed, down to the flat top for the stove! And a gas grill! Gorgeous mountain views from the living room/ dining room! Large deck that was perfect for morning coffee and watching sunsets in the evening. Love love love the house! One of the young teens loved ringing the gong when meals were ready :).

Graduation weekend in Vermont

We were in the area for our son’s graduation from Norwich University. The 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allowed our group plenty of space to spread out. Our older guests were grateful for a bedroom suite on the main floor. The large dining table was perfect for a celebratory meal after graduation. The views of Sugar Bush can’t be beat! Communication with the landlord was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

One of the better houses we have stayed at

Great option for a large group, about 20 minutes from sugarbush slopes. Great fireplace, lots of wood, good beds, lots of space to spread out. Driveway can be tough in winter if you don't have a properly equipped vehicle (snow tires and/or AWD)

Wedding weekend

This home was exactly as advertised…plenty of dishes, paper towels, toilet paper. Owner was super helpful with quick responses. Driveway is tough but he warned us of that… we had a great weekend celebrating my nieces wedding down the hill.

Great house with a fantastic view!

We had 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids) stay to ring in the new year in this beautiful home. The location was about 20 minutes to Sugarbush where we skied every day and under 10 min to the center of Waitsfield. The spacious living room had ample space for everyone and the dining room accommodated all 12 of us for dinner each night. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Great communication with owner regarding some changes in the linen service prior to our arrival. Looking forward to returning next year!

Great Location, Better View!

The chalet is in a perfect location up the hill above Waitsfield. The location is quiet & private, yet close to everything in town (restaurants, shops, groceries - Mehuron's Market is fabulous). Also close to many hiking trails including several access points to the Long Trail. As noted in previous reviews, the view across the Mad River Valley to the main ridge of the Green Mountains is wonderful - either thru the "wall of windows" in the great room or from the large deck. Since there were only 2 of us, we only used the main floor of the house. The bed was fine & there is a large stone fireplace that opens to both the great room & master bedroom. Kitchen was equipped with everything we need to prepare meals. Note that this is an older cabin, so some of the appliances, furnishings, etc. are dated, but everything worked fine. The owner (Glenn) was easy to contact & very helpful. He is planning to make some upgrades to the cabin later this fall. We had a wonderful time!
