This is a fantastic place to stay! The house is secluded, quiet and tucked away on the side of the mountain. It was a great spot to slow down for a few days and hang with the family. While you feel like your in a remote area, you are just minutes from town w/ a grocery store, cool local restaurants and bars, a great butcher shop called 5th Quarter (great wine, cheese and pork options), a great farmers supply at the bottom of the hill that sells local beef. Tons of cool shops. Ben and Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, The von Trapp Family Lodge and Brewery and Stowe are less than an hour out the road. Sarah was a great host. Highly recommend!

Jason was a pleasure to have at our home and we hope his family returns next time they get to Vermont. He was kind enough to let us know of a loose refrigerator handle; which we really appreciate as we like to keep things as perfect as possible. Jason treated our home as if it was his own and I think that's the best guest you can have!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home with everything you need for your stay! Location is perfect! Quiet and secluded but a quick ride to restaurants, activities and shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house and country landscape. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The one helpful hint would be that the road is dirt with many pit holes and slight wash outs from storms so don’t take your low to the ground car on the road

We stayed at this beautiful home in the woods of Vermont for a large family trip, including several small children, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. It had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. It had everything we needed: a fully stocked kitchen with cooking supplies, utensils, plates, and even a grill, plus essentials like toiletries, a washer and dryer, and more.Even though it feels like a peaceful escape tucked into the woods, it’s surprisingly close to stores and restaurants, which made things super convenient, especially with kids!We did have a surprise encounter with a bear that had gotten into the outside garbage (as expected in the woods of Vermont!), but the host responded immediately and sent someone out to secure the area and help ensure it wouldn’t happen again. We really appreciated how quickly and seriously it was handled, it made us feel safe and well cared for.The host was amazing throughout our stay, very friendly and quick to answer any questions. This was one of our favorite family trips, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped home away from home!

Sarah’s home was exactly as described: a beautiful modern retreat minutes away from the quaint town of Waitsfield. The house was perfectly clean, well provisioned and set in a beautiful natural setting.If we find ourselves returning to the area this would be our first choice of accommodations!
