Enjoyed the stay in their beautiful beach house. Grilled, lounged, and used it as base camp between our adventures. Bathrooms were especially good. Oh, and we saw a bald eagle chill on the property, on the rocks just by the water. All and all, a great time.

It’s hard to put into words, how lovely our experience was. Perhaps “magical” would be an appropriate descriptor. David couldn’t have been better as a host The house truly is a historic gem! The views were amazing, no matter the weather. The sunsets we saw were spectacular! We got to see the Bald Eagles and we were lucky enough to be there during the Monarch migration. They were flying right over the house.

We had an awesome time

The home was 100% as represented, historic, relaxing, and comfortable. Great views of Lake Erie, very handy, convenient to restaurants and tourist destinations. would definitely stay there again!

Copper Beech Christmas Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this large and historic home. We were able to fit our large family for a wonderful Christmas dinner and had plenty of space to move about and socialize. The rooms were comfortable and the property was unique and clean.

Good property for group or family gathering. Right on the lake. It was a bit musty when I arrived but aired out prwtty wuick. Well-equipped kitchen and dishware.

Beautiful home with amazing views of Lake Erie. The sunsets over the lake were breathtaking. There was plenty of room in this historic gem for my family of nine and we had everything we needed to make great family memories. David was great and made sure our stay was perfect in every way. Would definitely book again.

Outstanding stay

The home is very well maintained and if you appreciate more than ample room, very comfortable furniture, a very well-stocked and appointed kitchen, then you will love staying here. My wife and I were very pleased. The owner is exceptionally responsive to all questions and needs.

Perfect location close to everything with amazing views of the Lake

Amazing stay right on the lake! The house had everything we needed and the views were amazing. We stayed with our five kids while attending a soccer tournament. Beds were comfortable and the views from the deck of the lake will be a long lasting memory for our family! David was amazing with communication. We can’t wait to visit again!

Wintry Lakefront Weekend with Family

Excellent. The home was perfect for a wintry weekend away with family who gathered from across the miles. Lake views from the house were gorgeous! Home was very accessible for my mom who uses a walker. She loved the historic nature of the decorations in the home too. Hope to visit again!

Excellent stay. Had a few days with adult children. We were in search or Raptors, and Snowy owls. Portions of house feel like you are practically on the lake. Located near many nature preserves. Would like to return in the summer

Great location for beautiful sunsets and tranquil lake views. Spent a relaxing weekend playing cards on the back deck, chilling in the yard watching the eagles, cormorants and other Lake Erie wildlife. House was immaculately clean, kitchen was equipped with top of the line appliances and everything I needed to prepare home cooked meals. Beds were very comfortable and WIFI was strong. 100% recommend

Amazing

The house had fantastic views of the lake from the master bedroom, kitchen, dinning room family room and enclosed patio room. Everything was so comfortable. Everything you need is very modern and the house has gorgeous antiques throughout. The owner of the property replies so quickly and I would positively stay again and highly recommend For a family for fun or just a quiet relaxing place to stay! unique boat house

Gorgeous view of the Lake from the deck and backyard. Great communication from the owner and property manager, and any issues were handled quickly. Many beautiful collections and interesting artwork throughout. We enjoyed our stay so much! I was traveling with older ladies, a couple had walkers. Be aware that everyone needs to be able to go up two or three steps to get into the house, and handle a step here and there inside the house as well. That made it a little challenging for them, but we managed. There are two king beds on the main level in separate bedrooms, and three separate twin beds in the upstairs in one bedroom. There’s a full bath upstairs, and two bathrooms on the main level. It’s a lovely old house with a lovely view of Lake Erie and sunsets!

The property was clean and the beds comfortable.The lake views are many and spectacular from the 3 vistas!Our 6 yr old grandson was delighted with the wildlife and many toys / books with plenty of room to play.Our son worked from the spacious office with good internet & privacy.David is a super-responsive host who addressed all our needs.The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances and utensils for easy entertaining.There are good shops, pubs, parks and entertainment near by.Truly a great experience
