Although the exterior of the property looks pretty run down, the interior was clean and nice except for the smaller of the two bedrooms which bed seemed to smell bad. The balcony was a nice place to sit and relax with a nice view, Bery convenient location. I did not bring the smell in the small bedroom to the attention of the host so to be fair they might have been able to do something about it.

We traveled here from Shelby NC, the place was super clean, all the necessities were stocked and neat, everything was in place, so you didn’t have to guess where anything was. We had no WiFi problems and the place was spacious and looked EXACTLY like the pictures! 10/10 would 100% stay here again on my next trip to Wilmington. Only thing you have to look out for is if you are traveling in a lower/sensitive car (like me) there are potholes, but nothing you can’t avoid! It’s also close distance to many food places open late, over all I absolutely enjoyed my stay!!

My experience with vrbo

The property was clean and very spacious. I enjoyed the area, and how close it was to stores. Overall my stay was great. They were very professional and responsed to all messages sent quickly. I will recommend this property to others

Overall nice place

Overall nice place in the area was close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Had washer/dryer which was great for our longer stay. Has both drip coffee and k-cup coffee maker. The view from the deck was nice looking out at greenery vs buildings.

Highly recommend

Overall, this place was very clean and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay enjoyable, e.g. lots of towels, washing machine detergent, dishwasher tablets. The location was key to our visit to the university, which was a short walk away. There’s a local taproom around 5 minute walk away which we visited quite often. I’m likely to visit Wilmington again soon, and this place would be my number one preference.

Overall good

Checking in was super easy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook meals. There were plenty of bathroom towels and linens but no kitchen towels. Beds were comfortable. The inside is definitely nicer than outside. Could use some deep cleaning, baseboards and ceiling fans and mold along the shower door. Close to restaurants, shops and UNCW. Overall a nice stay.

Please read entire review: The interior of the property was BEAUTIFUL. Every picture was accurate, very clean and tidy. The check in process was easy and the communication was great. There were no discrepancies what so ever with the interior of this property! The alarming part of the property is the exterior/the neighborhood in which it is located. I was traveling with my daughter and felt extremely uncomfortable upon arriving. There were multiple men standing outside staring at us as we entered. I looked out the window once I got inside and they were still there watching and pointing at my car. Very uncomfortable. So much so that I immediately decided not to stay at the property. I reached out to the host and she informed me no one else had complained of safety issues and she can't control the other people around. Also understandable. Upon telling her that we were going to cancel our stay, she offered a refund of the cleaning fee (95) on the 400 that was spent to book the stay. I also am aware of her strict cancellation policy so it was generous to offer even that. I just want any women/children considering this place to beware of the fact that you may feel uncomfortable by the neighbors.

Our shorty stay was for a loved one’s memorial service & we were grateful for this perfect place to stay. Both bedrooms were furnished well, kitchen had all you required, board games, reading books were ideal for our grands. Thank you for providing a home away from home for our family!
