Review of our stay at 104 Laurel
Our group has been coming to this home for the past several years and have always enjoyed our stay there. We were amazed at how beautiful the newly renovated home looked. In the past, we have not had issues, but this year, I am sorry to say, we did. I would say all of the issues could have been resolved if addressed. However, the only issue that was addressed was when we called to say we were not getting hot water for our showers. Coldwell immediately sent someone to address the problem and it was fixed. Here is a list of the other issues that were not addressed:
Infestation of gnats (we purchased sticky tapes to attract them. Did not do much good. They were in the kitchen, dining room and some of the bedrooms and bathrooms. They were there the entire time we were there.
The shower door in the upstairs back bedroom was not aligned properly, thereby causing the door to hit against the glass panel when it was closed.
The light switch in the hall bathroom on the second floor did not work - the one operating âheat, light, fanâ.
The light switch in the dining area was always âhotâ to the touch, thereby causing concerns about the electrical.
From the second day, we called regarding the Keurig. It was leaking the entire time we were using it. It was not the same Keurig that was supposed to be there - at least according to the appliance brochure.
Needless to say, the gnats did a lot towards ruining what would otherwise be a lovely time. Two of the ladies, on first arriving, had definitely considered renting with their families next summer, but because of the lack of response, have decided against it.
