Nokomis Beach House

Very Clean and all of the items that you forget to bring. This house had everything! Short walk to the beach! Great Location.

The house was spacious with a good layout in a quiet neighborhood. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The pool was clean and nicely heated. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys. The location was great, with the beach only a short walk from the house, plus restaurants within walking distance. It was also a short ride to shopping, and restaurants on Rt. 41. The city of Venice is a short car ride away. We would recommend this property. (The third bedroom might not work for some, as it is detached from the house with no bathroom.)

Everything we wanted for a beach vacation!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The rental is clean, well-decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a guest could want or need for a beach vacation! The home looked just like the pictures. It is a short walk to the beach, and my kids (ages 9 & 10) had no problem walking the distance. We used the beach wagon and chairs that were available at the home. Unfortunately, the pool was green for a large portion of our stay, but the owner was very communicative and quickly addressed the issue. (It just took several days for the pool company to turn the pool blue again.) Also to note, the third bedroom (with the twin beds) is detached from the rest of the home and is located in the finished garage space behind the pool. We did not anticipate that. We had originally planned for our kids to sleep in that bedroom, but I did not feel comfortable with them sleeping separate from the rest of the family, so we made some last-minute adjustments in the sleeping arrangements. Not a big deal, but sharing for your consideration as you plan your family’s needs for vacation. Ultimately, we had a great vacation and highly recommend this rental!
