Loma La Parra ligger i hjärtat av Andalusiens vackraste områden med berg och sjöar och ligger i flera tusen kvadratmeter privat mark, mellan två skyddade områden med extraordinär naturskönhet, El Chorro och El Torcal och bara 30 minuter från det berömda, spektakulär gångväg, "el caminito del rey" eller Kings Walk. Lokala aktiviteter inkluderar, ridning, mountainbike, klättring, promenader, vattensporter på sjöarna, arial sports, sightseeing och shopping och golf i Antequera i närheten. Inom räckhåll är Malaga, Granada (Alhambra och snöskidåkning), Cordoba och Sevilla, kusten och Gibraltar. Alternativt kan du bara koppla av, njuta av solen och njuta av din lugna omgivning; utsikten, bylivet, huset, poolen, grill och trädgårdar.

Golf: Antequera Golf ligger 20 km eller en halvtimme från villan.
Alhaurin Golf ligger 30 km eller 40 minuter bort.
Båda ligger i bergen med spektakulär natur.
Det finns fler kurser på kusten en eller två timmar bort.

Kust / Strand
Costa del Sol stränder är 30 miles bort vilket tar cirka 1 till 1. 5 timmar. De bättre områdena är Fuengirola och de mindre stränderna runt Marbella.
En 2 till 3 timmars bilresa tar dig till Atlants vindsurfingstränder runt Tarifa.

Skidåkning: Provinsen Granada är hem till Andalusiens högsta bergskedja, Sierra Nevada, och dess lokala skidort, Sol y Nieve.
Det finns ett utmärkt, modernt hissnätverk, god tillgång, skidåkning till 3000 meter och vertikala nedstigningar på 1000 meter. Anläggningen är öppen från jul till slutet av april, och ligger 2 timmar från huset.

Den privata poolen är 11m x 5m. Det finns en utomordentligt rymlig, kaklad omgivning för solbad, en pergolaskugga och spektakulär utsikt över bergen.
Det närliggande sommarköket och grill med stenbord och uteservering för 12 gäster är centrum för din uteservering.
Det finns en separat täckt terrass med träpelare och balkar och ett tallbord till plats 10, plus en soffa och två fåtöljer.

Äta ute.
I byn finns det många barer och några restauranger. Det finns stormarknader, en kemist, en läkare, slaktare, bagare, ta bort pizza och stekt kyckling och en marknad varje torsdag. Det finns banker med kontantmaskiner. Antequera, mindre än en halvtimmes bilresa, är ett fantastiskt köpcentrum med många restauranger som passar alla smaker och fickor.

Huset perfekt för oss

Fint rustikt hus med fin o rikligt utrustning. Bra utsikt. Området fritt men kanske lite blåsigt. Kan vara bra om det är för varmt. Lagom avstånd till byn. Kunde vara lite mera restauranger. Totalt var vi alla 12 st mycket nöjda.

Familie goudenjubileum

Prachtige ruime comfortabele casa mayor waar je diverse hoeken hebt om te genieten, zowel binnen als buiten. De buiten keuken met BBQ was een super gezellige hoek. En dan spreken we nog niet over het prachtige zwembad waar de kinderen van hebben genoten. De ligging is ook uniek, rustig en geeft veel wandel mogelijkheden in de omliggende natuurparken! Warm aan te bevelen !

Superb family Holiday

Wow - never had such a fantastic family holiday. My wife and I entertained 3 of 5 of our adult children and their respective partners and 5 of our grandchildren at Colin and Francesca's country house in August 2024. When we were a lot younger we had some wonderful family holidays at both hired accommodation and properties we have owned abroad, but none recently or with so many participants. More recently we have tended to holiday at 5 star hotels abroad and it has just been my wife and myself. Now we are older ( I am 78 and somewhat infirm) and our children have families we all decided to have a "Last Hurrah" with as many of our extended family as possible ( some of our grandchildren are now raising their own children and others are making their own way in the world. Communicating with Colin was simple and he could not have been more helpful and flexible in making the arrangements. The property is large and and the outside area - grounds and pool are superbly maintained by Colin who acts as" pool boy/gardener" My wife and one of our sons and some of the grandchildren never ventured outside of the grounds all week apart from attending a birthday party meal for our 15 year old grandson at a local restaurant so kindly recommended and booked by Colin - so taken were they with the onsite facilities. One point which stops me giving a 5 star rating overall is the internal accommodation which is in need of some updating (mattresses and bathrooms)

Wonderful stay!

The property is gorgeous, plenty of room for 5 couples + and the outside area is outstanding. Lovely big pool, plenty of comfortable loungers and a fabulous outdoor kitchen with seating for BBQs or drinks . Air con in the bedrooms was a godsend as we had 40 degree temps, but the breeze and the pool made it bearable! Wasps were a bit of a pain but we got used to ignoring them. Colin and Francesca are just the best hosts..always available but not interfering , solved any issues immediately and were generally lovely people. Many thanks for a memorable stay:) The extended King family! (Sue and Richard)

Nice place and big pool

Everything was nice and clean. Kitchen was big and well equipmented. There was two big fridge and that was big plus for big group. Also there was two washing machines so it help a lot daily routines. There was also nice barbecue place under roof where was good facilities to cook. We liked that place a lot, nothing to complain. Also owner was very nice and friendly and check in and out was smooth and fast. 6/5 star for this place. Only small minus is the road ( last Kilometer) to place but that is not owners fault and not is his hand.

Amazing villa and fabulous hosts

Property was wonderful; clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Pool and garden were immaculate, even better than the pictures. The location was very peaceful and the views were amazing, Valle de Abdalajis is the closest village where you can find bars, a few shops and a couple of supermarkets; the locals are very friendly and it's only a 5 minute drive from the villa. Colin and Francesca are lovely hosts, they couldnt have helped us more and we would definitely stay here again.

It was a Top-week

The property is very nice, every bedroom has its own shower/bath. In the house every thing you may need was available Also the BBQ was very good.The environment could not be better and made it easy to fill in our days. I promissed Collin to tell our friends and other people if they look voor a location we will advize to go here. Perhaps we also will go back in teh next years.

What an amazing villa and location!

Just returned from 7 nights staying at this spectacular villa. Everything we could have wanted and more was provided. The location is stunning for those that truly want to get away from it all, fabulous pool and outdoor area. The rooms were perfect for a large group, each with its own bathroom. A car is a must, to enable you to explore the surrounding areas and stick up at the supermarket (a number in the local town, just a 2 minute drive away). Colin and Francesca were wonderful hosts and only a message away if we needed anything. Will definitely be looking to book again, thank you 😊

Fantastic villa

A wonderful holiday in this spacious villa in spectacular surroundings. Pool area perfect for family fun with plenty of space for sun beds and inflatables but shaded areas also if needed. Colin and Francesca were perfect hosts, quickly available if needed but never intrusive. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Our Beautiful Holiday

Our stay in this beautiful villa was all that a holiday should be. The villa is beautiful with very spacious en-suite air conditioned bedrooms, ensuring all had privacy when needed and children could nap in the hot afternoons and adults too. Our hosts Francesca and Colin were marvellous and went out of their way to do all they could to make our holiday enjoyable. Never intrusive, but always at hand when needed. Wir hatten 10 traumhafte Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus, das keine Wünsche offen ließ.

Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter Colin und Francesca begann schon Tage vor der Anreise mit hilfreichen Tipps/Hinweisen. Das Haus, mit allem ausgestattet, und die gesamte Anlage waren in einem Top-Zustand. Der Pool wurde jeden 2. Tag gereinigt. Bettwäsche, Hand- und Pooltücher nach 5 Tagen gewechselt. Diese Anlage mit diesen Vermietern können wir zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen.

wonderfully fabulous

colin and francesca the most amazing hosts , nothing was too much trouble . this villa allows everyone there only private air condition bedroom and bathroom , allowing that break out time fir large groups . whilst having lovely communal areas to gather inside and out . everything you need in the kitchen , very clean property , clean linen and towels . large pool , secluded to allow privacy and a bit of children excitement noise , close to town to pop for a shop . best villa by far for our very large family thank you

The ideal place to relax and enjoy the views

Arriving at the villa we were completely bowled over by the location and position and the villa itself was perfect for 9 of us plus a 6 month old. The pool is a great size, with plenty of sun beds and a very pretty shaded area. The views are incredible and look over the mountains and down into the very pretty village with supermarkets and bars. Our hosts, Colin and Francesca, made it very easy to check in and get settled into our holiday. On request, they arranged for a delicious paella feast from a local restaurant and delivered it to us themselves. We did quite a bit of sightseeing as we don’t mind driving but places like Seville, Cordoba and Granada are a good hour and a half to two hours away. Antequera, which is only half an hour away is very pretty with a fabulous castle which is well worth a visit and El Torcal, a lovely rocky walk! We would definitely come back to this area and this villa, if there were enough of us, however……….and I am nitpicking here, there were only 2 pillows per double bed and these were very flat, the knives for cutting were all blunt which made preparation of food difficult and although the BBQ area was great, there was a particular tree which screened off the cooking area from the table and stopped the ‘cook’ from joining in with the chat around the table (some lopping of branches would help). All in all, a fabulous time was had and we’d do it again anytime!

Beautiful Country House - Perfect

This stay was really perfect for us. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the garden/pool area is stunning and even better than the website photographs show with mature garden, multiple seating/lounging areas and excellent pool. The mountain/countryside views from the house and garden are wonderful. We loved the surrounding district and local village. Colin and Francesca were absolutely ideal hosts - really friendly and helpful but they were careful not to intrude. It was a really great experience with no negatives.

An absolutely stunning property, perfect hosts.

Communication with Colin and Francesca was great, they were very quick to respond to any queries and nothing was too much trouble for them. Prior to our arrival they had given us plenty of tips about car hire recommendations and places to see in the local area. The property is approximately an hour from Malaga airport. We arrived at the house and I can only describe it as absolutely stunning. It is set in the hills giving it beautiful views. The house itself has absolutely everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are spacious, and all have their own bathroom. We were travelling as a party of 8 so this worked out well for us. The outside area is beautiful, a peaceful, tranquil spot, with a lovely breeze most days. The pool area really has the wow factor. There are so many areas to find both sun and a shady spot. The property also has an outside kitchen and BBQ area which we made full use of. Colin had recommended a couple of restaurants in the local village which did not disappoint. There are also a couple of smaller supermarkets, bakery, butchers, pharmacy etc which are handy. We booked this holiday to get together as a family after a long time being apart due to Covid.-19. Colin and Francesca were a big part in making that happen and we can't recommend their property and this part of Spain highly enough. We hope to be back one day.

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans cette maison bien agréable Bien équipée (manque de grands plats), propre même si certaines housses de canapés un peu usé. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain ce qui est appréciable mais lits doubles petits Grande piscine , coin barbecue bien agréable accueil très sympathique, des hôtes qui répondent rapidement à nos questions et discrets Il faut apprécié d’être éloigné d’une grande ville Parfait pour 11 personnes Merci colin et Francesca

Hemos pasado nuestras vacaciones en la casa junto a un grupo de amigos. La casa muy grande, con habitaciones súper amplias. Todo bastante limpio. Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina y de la casa en general. Los propietarios muy amables. Para repetir.

Preciosa casa

Han sido unos días estupendos en la casa. Es igual que en las fotografías,muy acogedora. La zona del jardín es espectacular con su piscina de 11metros y medio. Colin y Francesca fueron amables y atentos con nosotros y nos resolvieron pronto el problema que tuvimos con el frigorífico. Volveremos!
