NOT a 1 min walk from the beach. It's 1 min walk to the sign for the beach. Had to rent a golf cart and park at AML rental office and go to the closest beach access to the office. That was really disappointing. Not as private as we'd like, there was always someone in the mornings. The landscape crew almost caught me in a compromised posture when I was trying to erase some tan lines out back thinking it was private. Cute place, nice everything and convenient to shops, further walk for beach than we wanted. A bit misled on that. Golf cart rental place that we were supposed to get a discount with through staying wasn't available but we did book last min, it was my birthday surprise from my bf. But I'd stay here again just for the coziness. The sweetest staff at the office ever though!

location is great, lacking a few basics

overall the location and property is great.only thing keeping this property from being a 4 or even 5 star property is the bedroom. namely, the bed itself is not sufficient for two adults, in both size and comfort for the price. it was a pretty small and rickety bed, without a headboard as well. there are a few other small things that could make this a repeat 5 star property, but the bed is the biggest drawback

This was a very nice little cottage that we stayed in. The pool right outside the door was great. A couple of times we had a minor maintenance issue and they were right there to fix it. We hated to leave because it was so nice. And the beach was a short walk. The only problem was that it rained a lot! One day it rained all day long and all the streets were flooded. We stayed in all day, watched TV and watched it rain!

Just the right size

Location was in the area we love best ! Biking and relaxing with a minimal walk to the beach is our goal. Two bedroom was really one bedroom with a couch that makes a bed. Main bedroom mattress very firm if you like firm! Only need we had that was not available was a broom to sweep the sand The welcome box was great I would add two laundry pods for to be perfect

Loved this property, would definitely stay here again! It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location was PERFECT, couldn’t have asked for a better location, loved staying on the north end of the island! The property managers were great too. The only thing I wish they would change is the queen bed in the master bedroom, it was like sleeping on the tile floor! But I had anticipated that from reading other reviews. I don’t have a bad back, so I was okay, but my husband complained every morning! It was spotless and very nice!

One and done

Would not stay again. A few reasons. The bed was so uncomfortable it was hard and seemed super cheap. The “laundry area” was basically a shed outside you share with the other renter. Overall not a deal breaker other than there is no lighting in laundry area so you need your phone to see if you do laundry at night. Which is likely since you share the space. Beach chairs that are available had broken arms on them and were pretty cheap. Furniture in the living room was stained up. Just seemed not a lot goes into the place. Wasn't a very comfortable space.

Perfect stay!

Great place to stay, very quiet and just a 2 minute walk to Bean Beach! We love the skylights and private pool. Everything we need is here! Clean and comfortable. We couldn't figure out the remotes and someone came promptly to help! We will definitely come again! 5 stars!

Great Location

This is our second time staying here and we're extremely surprised about the condition of the couch and ottoman. We love the location, the house and the pool, but the furniture was filthy and in desperate need of cleaning!!! It would take nothing to clean the couch and ottoman. We'd love to stay again, but unfortunately we probably won't.

Served our purpose.

The cottage kinda lives up to the saying "you get what you pay for". It served its purpose for us as far as a place to lay our heads at night. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the cleaning company. There were gross stains on the ottoman and couch. The shelves above the toilet in the 2nd bedroom have not been dusted in a while. There were no color changing lights in or around the pool as described. The skylight above the bed in the 2nd bedroom is not fun. The moonlight and the sunlight kept we awake, even with my eye mask.

You get what you pay for!

It's a fine beach home. Not warm and cozy. Beds are hard and not comfy. The towels are like rubbing sandpaper on your body. The place is dirty and needs a deep clean. The little pool area is nice but the pool is dirty. Defiantly didn't want to take a dip but good for the feet. Location was good. It's a duplex so you can hear your neighbors. The kitchen is not equipped with anything fancy. It would be nice to have plastic glasses. The amount of glasses and mugs are just a few.

Do bad mattresses really lead to bad reviews? YES!

Not only do bad mattresses indicate that you do not care about the comfort of your guests, but uncomfortable mattresses can also impact our entire stay. As your guest that spent the entire night tossing and turning and woke up with a backache from your bad mattress will likely leave a bad review about the vacation as a whole. We will not rent this house again or recommend to friends and family.

First trip to Anna Marie Island for Christmas 2022.

This property is accurately listed as small but they could do a few things to make it much more comfortable. 1) a full size comfortable couch with a hide a bed would have been really nice. A two seater love seat, two cheap wicker chairs & a small 4 seat table is not adequate seating for any condo. 2) The double bed in the MBR is hard as the floor and squeaks with every move. Upgrade to a quality queen bed. 3) the second bedroom bed quality was poor too. A queen/single bunk bed would be a great improvement. In short, we had our daughter who is a college student for a Christmas trip to Anna Marie and the vacation was good. Due to the poor quality of the cheap furniture our accommodations were “less than desirable” to say the least. With a little investment in good furniture this place would be great and could sleep 5-6 comfortably and would be a great place to stay. The location is great!!
