Fantastisk vy - höstack Rock och Needles

Denna skatt är oöverträffad för en traditionell reträtt till stranden. En mil söder om centrum Cannon Beach och mindre än ett kvarter promenad till sand, kan du njuta av enkel tillgång till vad ditt hjärta önskar.

Horner Beach House byggdes 1928 för att dra nytta av den bästa utsikten över Haystack Rock och Needles. En av de ursprungliga bostäder på kullen, vyn innehåller en expansiv panorama över havet samt enkel tillgång till stranden. Huset har just genomgått en omfattande ombyggnadsarbete, bevara strand stuga atmosfär samtidigt som moderna bekvämligheter göra din upplevelse bekväm.

Det finns flera häckande par av örnar som bor i bergen bakom beach house. De flyger direkt ovanför på väg att jaga på Haystack Rock. En fantastisk skådespel! Haystack Rock är den bästa platsen på kusten för att se Tufted Puffins från april till augusti. The Rock är också värd för avel Western Gull, Pelagic Cormorant, Pigeon Guillemot och svart Oystercatcher, Halequin Duck, brun pelikan, och pilgrimsfalk ses i sommar och bergand och Surf Scoter i vinter.

The location of the property is incredible and it was extremely clean and extremely well appointed with everything we needed. Great books, puzzles, games and comfortable beds. We loved our visit to Cannon Beach!

Having Haystack Rock right outside our living room window and front porch was simply amazing! We’ve never stayed in a cooler place! Everything in the house was just as good as the view, clean and comfortable. We would encourage visitors to go to the beach not just during the day or at sunset, but also at night. If it’s not cloudy, you can see a million stars! We hope to visit here again one day!

Perfect getaway! Lovely remodeled house with all the amenities. Perfect view of Haystack Rock right out in front. You’re up on the hill so it’s 56 (I counted) steps down to the sand….a great workout coming back up. We were blessed with great weather so we had a fire on the beach one night. We ate at the Driftwood twice. Great food.

This home is as beautiful and lovely as described! Situated atop a hill overlooking Haystack Rock with a direct easy path to the beach makes this the perfect location for a trip to Cannon Beach! We loved that it was close to town but just far enough removed to be quiet and less congested than the busy summer crowds in CB. It is evident that this home is loved. You can feel warm fuzzies of memories shared over the years. My niece and I had so much fun here, it was hard to leave! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could possibly want or need to prepare meals. We also appreciated the games and puzzles, as well as the beach toys/buckets. Thank you for a lovely stay, can’t wait to visit again!

Home was cozy and very clean. Great location and very quiet aside from some construction noise. The only downside was that the BBQ was moldy and did not burn well so we were not able to cook our meat and hot dogs that we brought with us. Other than that , a great place to stay!

This house was very close to haystack rock, which has the best tidal pools. There are lots of birds nesting there as well. It was very quiet and restful there.

Great Location Cannon Beach

Beautiful view of Haystack rock and great access to the beach. Cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed.Very short drive to shops and restaurants. We loved Castaways and Anna’s Table for dinner. Being able to walk down to Haystack Rock for sunset after dinner was fantastic!

Best View of Cannon Beach

The location was perfect for enjoying the beach. The Eagles were a special treat daily that flew and perched on the top of Haystack Rock. The tide pools at the base of Haystack were abundant with starfish and urchins. It was fun to explore and being so close to the beach made it perfect.

Accessible Cozy Gem at Cannon Beach

This home was absolutely perfect for my family's stay at Cannon Beach. The view of Haystack Rock exceeded my expectations. We were able to see the eagles perched on top of Haystack Rock right from the sofa using binoculars. The home is also very close to the beach access stairs. Another major perk of this home was that it is easily accessible for people with mobility issues. There is only only step to get into the home. The master bedroom and master bathroom are both located on the ground floor. My disabled mother was extremely satisfied with her stay. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return one day!

Beautiful house and view

This was the perfect spot to enjoy Cannon Beach! Beautiful view from the house, and a quick walk down to the beach and Haystack rock. Also very close to restaurants downtown. We loved it and hope to be back in the future!

When we were kids we used to go to Cannon Beach because our neighbors had a house there. Relatives from North Dakota were treated with trips to the beach whenever they visited. After the death of our father, our mom bought this house in 1974 looking forward to spending her retirement at the beach she so loved. It was a favorite spot for family and friends alike.

Mom wanted to share this beautiful spot with friends and began renting. We are happy to continue making the house available for others to enjoy.
