We enjoyed our stay in Sandusky at this cute home. Very spacious for just the two of us and we enjoyed having this as our home base as we traveled around the area. The trains definitely pass through frequently, but didn’t bother us in the least. Very comfortable and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again.

Just what we needed

Very nice little house, super conveniently located within a short driving distance to Cedar Point. Corner lot located close to railroad tracks, which honestly was a bonus for us (my husband and son LOVE trains). Everything was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities of home. A/C is not central, but there were units in each bedroom and the living room, lots of fans helped get the cool air flowing.

Party on the next block got out of hand. Nothing against the home owner. Jeff was very communicative and great to work with. Loud train goes by often but being from NY we didn't mind. Would stay again.

Good Stay

This rental was perfect for a quick trip to Cedar Point. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the AC units were not able to keep up with the heat this week. It hit 97 the day we were at Cedar Point. This was definitely an extreme heat for the area, but it made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience after a rough day in the heat.

Hoise was ok. Didnt love location. We had to listen to a train go by all day and night. The neighbors motion light continuously came on all through the night, shining into our windows and keeping us awake. Tons of cars with loud music came through at all hours of the night. The breaker tripped 4 times in 2 days. House was cute on the surface but its obvious it was painted to make it look nicer.

Yo can't beat this property for the price. When we arrived the place was clean with a fresh smell. The neighborhood was quiet. There is a train track across the street however inside the house it was not loud, they did not use horns. The water pressure was great especially in the shower. The secret to flushing the toilet is to hold down the handle for 3 sec. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. There is grill on the back porch which you don't have with a condo. There is a large inventory of towels and wash cloths. The location is close to stores, farmers markets, and downtown Sandusky. This was an excellent find for us. Would enjoy staying here again next year if available.

Perfect location, Comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay at this house, even though we were not there much. We were moving our daughter out of her apartment as she was going back to school and needed a place to stay for that. House is comfortable and served our quick stay. We liked the little touches of hospitality, easy location to many things, quiet location (other than the trains early in the morning, but those were not that bad once you realized what the sound was). FYI if you stay in the winter, the street doesn't get treated right away, so it's a bit slippery getting out of the neighborhood.

Weekend getaway to take my kids to Cedar Point.

I thought it was a great property, I like the end lot. I wish the outdoor lights had been working but we had a flashlight. I thought they left it very nice thought the maid was not expecting a check in. There is a railway that frequents but not much of a bother. Home insulates well. There’s a Dollar General at the corner that has everything you may have forgotten. Great place

The house was just as listed. A cute little place, perfect for our cedar point trip! TV in every room with cable, games and cards available also. You are next to a train but it didn't bother us. Would definitely stay here again! Communication with the host was speedy and he also accommodated us checking in early which was amazing.
