Detta nybyggda tre sovrum, två badrum hem ligger på Cowan Creek på Weiss Lake i nordöstra Alabama. Den fullt möblerade hem har en fantastisk utsikt över sjön och de omgivande bergen. Cowan Creek är en favoritplats för wakeboard, vattenskidor, crappie, och Bass Fishing. Det stora sovrummet är möblerat med en dubbelsäng. Det finns två enkelsängar i varje av de andra två sovrummen. Och det finns två sängar på loftet. Det stora rummet har också en bäddsoffa. Handdukar och sängkläder tillhandahålls. Köket är fullt möblerad och det finns en tvättmaskin / torktumlare i tvättstugan. Hemmet har också tillgång till internet (wifi), HD-TV och DVD-spelare. Det finns en parkering pad för en båttrailer eller RV och tillräcklig parkering för ytterligare två bilar på uppfarten (garaget används för ägare lagring och är inte tillgänglig). Hemmet är också utrustad med en övervakad larmsystem. Däcket har Adirondack stolar och bord med stolar. En gas grill finns också. Det finns trappor ner till bryggan som har makt för båt avgifter eller annan utrustning samt en fisk rengöring station. Det finns stolar på kajen. Beläget på en naturlig punkt, är dockan ett stort område för simning, med en stege tillgänglig. Båtar kan lanseras i närheten till Pruett Fish Camp, mindre än en mil bort.

Perfect home away from home

We were high school friends visiting a teacher friend. The house was fantastic! The back yard incline is challenging but we loved being there!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Cowan Creek Hideaway! The house was perfect and we loved the beautiful lake views! Would definitely come back here! We especially loved the open floor plan and the kitchen!

This was perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. My only complaint was the dock/pier needs some bracing it’s extremely wobbly. But definitely didn’t stop our crew from jumping in the lake!

Great House with Awesome lake views

Great weekend at this house. Couldn't ask for for. Fully stocked kitchen and waking up to that view is impressive. Everything all of the other reviews stated. Will stay here again and rent a waverunner for sure! Bring some floats at the minimum!

great stay

great house. We had an item taken from the dock - left to get a sandwich for just a short time and came back with tackle box stolen. We spoke with neighbor and the neighbor told us of the history of items being taken. Made us VERY cautious the rest of the stay. So SAD there are thieves in the area .

Wonderful!

We were in town for my son's wedding, with family from all over the U.S. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of parking (additional parking to the side of the driveway). Beautiful views, nice, clean, etc.

Wedding weekend

Lovely home

We enjoyed our week end at the lake very much, The house was lovely, well kept, nicely furnished and the owner was very easy to deal with. As mentioned in previous comments, the hill to the lake is very steep, I had to steady myself at one point going back up. . Also, the loft is a loft, the girls enjoyed going up there to get away from the adults during the day, but as a sleeping area, it is less than ideal. But overall, our first experience at a lake house was very positive and we look forward to many more trips.

Great location and beautiful view.

This house is in a great location with a beautiful view. House is very open and clean. Back porch is great to sit on and drink your morning coffee. Kitchen is great sized as well. Only downside to the property is the hill that leads you to and from the lake. It is very steep and would be very hard for older people to walk back and forth from the lake. Dock is great, kinda small but it fit us 6 just fine.

Best place to have your morning coffee.

Very nice home with an amazing place to sit and watch sunrise/sunset. Big enough for the whole family plus friends. Great place to travel with a boat or motorcycle. We go to the area for Terrapin Creek so if you have kayaks take them. We didn’t need it but they have a small area in the side to park a trailer. As always nothing is perfect and while it didn’t bother us I should mention the walk from the house to the dock is kinda steep so if you have trouble navigating terrain maybe consider the view from the porch.

Came to the area to go to my daughter baby shower had a blast nice clean home with good communication from renters during booking. Kids fished swam and enjoyed time with their friends. Beautiful view!

We live in the Atlanta area and bought on Weiss Lake in 2004. We fell in love with the area and spend almost every weekend at Weiss Lake from March through September. In 2009 we purchased a second lot and built a home on the property in 2014. The second property is used nearly exclusively as a vacation rental but also used occasionally by friends and family.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We were first attracted to Lake Weiss as my husband is an avid fisherman. Spending more time there, we found that the area is great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. There are some great spots nearby - like Cherokee Rock and Little River Gorge. The surrounding mountains are beautiful and the people as friendly as you would ever find. Cowan Creek is a great area for tubing, skiing, wake boarding, and swimming. Except for holidays, it's rarely crowed, so you always feel safe taking the kids out.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Quiet, peaceful, with spectacular views of the lake and mountains. Close to Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Birmingham but not crowded. There's a boat launch at nearby Roosters. This is a private home with your own dock and every convenience you would want for a weekend getaway or vacation.
