Historiska Holle House, 2: a våningen i vackra hem, minuter från centrum

Historiska Holle House byggdes 1910 i stilen Four Square American Movement och har många unika funktioner. Det är listat i det nationella register över historiska platser och nu kan det bli ditt! Detta privata utrymme, som ligger på andra våningen, har en egen separat ingång och en enorm täckt veranda, men kan hyras i samband med första våningen, för att rymma grupper så stora som sexton gäster. När du hyrs på första våningen erbjuds det till ett rabatterat pris. Om det hyrs ensam kan det sova sex till åtta gäster. Den har ett mycket stort vardagsrum med två dagarsängar, två bekväma stolar, platt-TV med kabel, gratis Wi-Fi och en bärbar CD-spelare. En vardagsrum med lyxig drottning kan också ställas in i vardagsrummet. Det första sovrummet har en full storlek säng och byrå. Det andra sovrummet har två enkelsängar. och en platt-TV med kabel. På övervåningen finns också ett kök med full storlek, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin och programmerbar kaffekanna. Det finns också en trevlig matsal. En läcker frukost ingår alltid. Hela lägenheten i hemmet är cirka 1100 kvadratmeter, plus har en enorm täckt veranda med gunga, stolar och bord.
Vi älskar att ha husdjur (hembruten och skadedjur gratis, snälla) och barn och har en port tillgänglig vid behov. Vi kan också erbjuda en barnstol.

We have huge covered porches at Historic Holle House and smoking is allowed outside on the porch. Please leave the home, much as you found it. Dirty towels can be placed in the laundry room and please leave any used beds unmade. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so please be considerate of your neighbors, especially late at night.

Absolutely lovely

We loved our stay at Holle House, and our host Susan covered all the angles even having a window AC unit on hand when the main AC went out during a historic Texas heat wave. All the essentials were covered wonderfully and Susan went above and beyond to make sure the even the fridge and cupboards were stocked when we moved in. The location is also phenomenal if you are looking to stay away from city crowds like we were. There are nice things to do in the area and the central location makes all the major metros and the gulf accessible for weekend staycations.

Wonderful stay at the Historic Holle House

Had a great time staying at the Historic Holle House. The host is very kind, welcoming and helpful. The property was clean and quiet. I would recommend the property to anyone who is going to the lovely town of Brenham.

A wonderful chilly, rainy, but cozy stay!

The home is not only historic, but beautiful and interesting. While our stay was a very chilly and wet one, we still had a great time. Susan goes above and beyond to make your stay great. It was so chilly and rainy that we just stayed in the home the first night and had the delicious quiche for dinner. She provides breakfast for both mornings and snacks. Plenty of towels and blankets for everyone.

Hospitality - Historic with modern comforts

The owner provides hospitality in spades. We arrived to a fully stocked kitchen, complete with enough breakfast meals to last throughout our stay. The fridge was stocked with new bottles of all condiments, juice, milk, cream, butter and the list goes on. There were fresh, clean, comfortable robes for each person. We were made to feel welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Having dreamed of operating a B&B all of my adult life, I took an early retirement and found Historic Holle House, a unique architectural gem in Brenham, Texas. I looked at hundreds of homes, but kept coming back to Holle House because it's charm called me to make it a beautiful and comfortable place for friends and families to visit, relax and make their own memories here.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The home was built 1910, in the Four Square American Movement style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has a very unique Art Deco feel inside with original beamed ceilings, beautiful wood burning fireplace, built in book cases, and huge archway over entry. The home also sits on a large half acre lot, graced with Pecan trees, Magnolia, and Crepe Myrtles. It has a huge wrap around porch downstairs as well as a big covered porch that runs across the entire front of the home on the second floor. It is only five blocks to the downtown area, a nice walk or easy bike ride away. Downtown offers a variety of things to do and see, as well as several great places to eat. And nearby are some great country drives to see other historical sights such as Washington on the Brazos, Chappell Hill, Round Top and Festival Hill, plus many other unique little Texas towns with plenty to see and do.

Each floor of the home can be rented separately or together for a discount. So it can sleep anywhere from 6 to 16 people, depending on your group's needs. It has all the comforts of home, with no detail overlooked. It likely has everything that you have in your own home, such as a stocked spice cabinet, paper goods and plastic ware as well as crystal and china, plus cable TV in most rooms, and free Wi-Fi.
