Welcome to the Ocean Bungalow!

The Space:
You'll be greeted with stunning views of the bluff and ocean from the comfort of your cozy living room or the outdoor deck. Conveniently, a Tesla charger is available for your use.

Located within walking distance to the Gualala supermarket, restaurants, and even our office, this home is the perfect relaxing getaway from the city. While there is no direct beach access, you'll be minutes away from the Gualala Bluff Trail and the Gualala River, where you can paddle board, picnic along the river, and even kayak!

The living room is furnished with a Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) over a cozy electric fireplace and comfortable seating. Right behind the living room is the family room with amazing blue water views.

The private balcony is equipped with a BBQ grill and patio seating. Enjoy your morning coffee out here to soak in the views. The kitchen comes prepared with a drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and more to make you feel right at home.

When it's time to call it a night, head to one of the two bedrooms. The main bedroom holds a Queen bed and an en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and an additional den has a sofa sleeper. A full 2nd bathroom is available for guests to share.

This home is pet friendly. A maximum of 2 dogs up to 50 lbs combined may be brought to this home. Please note that there is an additional Pet Fee of $75 per pet that is not included in your final booking cost. To pay your Pet Fee, please contact the Customer Care Team after booking.

Parking is available for 3 cars on the driveway with a newly installed Tesla charger! A washer and dryer are available for your use.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. An e-signed rental agreement and damage waiver are required upon confirming your reservation.

Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Bungalow during our long weekend getaway. The view of the ocean from the deck was breathtaking, and the sunsets were truly mesmerizing. At night, watching the moonlight reflect on the ocean from the living room was such a peaceful and magical experience. The house was very comfortable, check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect with supermarkets within walking distance. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay, and we would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Great stay right in the heart of Gualala

The views are great. checkin was really easy and my family and I had a great stay here. This is very close to groceries and restaurants, and attractions are just a short drive away. Very clean and well maintained property.

Relaxing

Had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and the view of the ocean was beautiful. It was convenient to walk to the grocery store but had to drive to get access to the beach.

Ocean and river view!

This house is exactly as pictured. The views are spectacular from both the deck and the main living room. It is also an easy stroll to Gualala for coffee and the grocery store. We loved exploring and just lounging at the house with our two dogs. Thank you!

An Unbeatable Ocean View!

We just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Ocean Bungalow in Gualala. The property is located within a very short walk to town, situated on a bluff with amazing views of the ocean for early morning coffee and lovely sunset gazing. It was very clean, the bed comfortable, and with all the necessary amenities to make for an easy an lovely stay. The kitchen is really well stocked with plenty of top quality cookware and dishes to make cooking-in work great. Many restaurants were on pause this weekend because of Covid, so having the Surf Market nearby to grab gourmet food to cook for ourselves was a perfect solution. We enjoyed the electric fireplace for ambiance, and the Tesla charger came in super handy, as we could be ready to go explore the coast each day with a full charge. We will definitely be back!

This home was spectacular. The view is awesome and there are many places on the deck to sit and enjoy the sounds of the water. The location is convenient as no car is necessary to access the small town. Navigating the remote controls was a challenge but we had a tech savvy person with us who figured it out.

You’re renting the location, and it’s fantastic. It may be the Northernmost most homes under Sea Ranch management. Smack in the middle of Gualala. NOTE: There is no cell service in town, so screen shot any check information you may need. There is a public wifi network, but it’s painfully slow. Afternoons in the back deck are wonderful. One of the chairs was broken and I told the property management. No problem. Strangely the headboard wasn’t attached to the bed, but it wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed a lunch at the seafood shack (walking distance) and the Surf market great; they even do BBQ lunches. Great place to relax, enjoy the cool temps, listen to the waves, and recharge.

Beautiful View

An amazing stay! The property is spacious and love the decor. The location is perfect! A very easy short walk to the restaurants and shops. The surrounding area is full of trails, beaches and so many points of interest. It was raining the whole time of our visit but it didn't matter, it was even more beautiful watching the wild ocean and river from the giant picture windows. So relaxing. Extras everywhere! We had everything we needed and more... blankets, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and lots of towels. Loved the make up wipes...Brilliant!!! Great WIFI! We got very lucky finding this gem...We found our spot.

Was everything it promised it would be

We were looking for a getaway at a peaceful place where we could stare at the ocean all day
 That’s exactly what we did! The ocean front view from the living room windows were spectacular. The house is conveniently located to town and we enjoyed walking there each day. It’s very well taken care of and clean and has everything you need. We look forward to being able to return in the future. Thank you to the management for making the whole process seamless.

Wonderful Getaway

This home has beautiful views and is close to trails and services. The kitchen is very well stocked and the home is comfortable and relaxing. A smoke alarm issue was promptly fixed by management.

Lovely clean house with a beautiful ocean view

The house was clean and inviting with a wonderful deck for sitting and dining. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked and we cooked several meals here. It was close to cafes and grocery stores and also still very quiet. It’s bigger than it seems— the sleeper sofa is in a separate room. I especially loved the deck and the sunroom off the deck that had super comfortable couches. I would go back!

Lovely Home

We’ve been coming to Gualala for years. Our “go to home” was recently sold so we needed to find a pet friendly home with a beautiful view and found this one. Very comfortable and well supplied with kitchen needs to cook. Just be sure and turn on the stove fan when cooking (just like the posted sign says!). We’ll be back again next year and are making this our new go to. Thank you

Someone entered the house while we were out and took batteries.

On 9/12, someone who knew the door lock code entered the house while we were out without our entry permission and took Duracell batteries from the kitchen drawer. I contacted the management office to fine who entered but they have not answered me yet. This incident totally ruined our vacation and scared us.

Amazing View

We enjoyed our week in Gualala. Was great to get out of the Texas heat and enjoy the beautiful Northern CA weather. Gualala is a great little town that we enjoyed exploring. The house has one of the better stocked kitchens the 25+ VRBO rentals we've stayed in. It was just 2 of us, but the house has a nice layout for larger groups with a couple of separate living areas. Great deck and amazing view of the Pacific where we spent many hours. Only suggestion would be to add ceiling fans to the bedroom or have an available fan in the closet for use. Great house and location.
