Very convinient

The house was comfortable and location was perfect. We were surprised that what was advertised as a bedroom, did not actually have a window - so with two teens sleeping, there, it was very stuffy. Otherwise, the house is spatious and comfortable. There were some details that could have been improved, like some lighbulbs that were out, and the dishwasher was not unloaded when we arrived, but those are manageable details. We loved the check-in - smooth and brilliant!

Nice location near the beach. House is plenty big and beds are comfortable. AC works well, as do all the appliances. However, the place was filthy when we arrived and it took several calls to get a cleaner sent out. Tub is partly clogged. Kitchen is well equipped but cabinets are messy and crammed with a hodgepodge of stuff. As we left, the electronic lock’s battery died and we were unable to lock the place properly (it took two calls to get though to someone).

Nice house in great location

We loved the location with easy walking-distance to the beach, and just a few blocks to the bike trails. The house was clean and well-equipped, and had plenty of space for our group of three adults and three kids. Would definitely stay again!

October beach weekend

We enjoyed our stay in Lewes. The house's location was convenient to the beach and dining/ shopping options. It was actually a little better equipped than we expected. Communication with property manager was prompt and helpful.

Convenient to Lewes Beach, nice living room space.

Easy, relaxing stay which was close to Lewes Beach and walking distance to several restaurants. Appreciated the well-,stocked kitchen and new, comfortable living room furniture. Size of house suited to max of four adults but lots of beds available for little kids.

Great, clean house in perfect location

The house exceeded our expectations! It was right next to the beach and a short walk to downtown Lewes. The house was bigger than the pictures let in. It was very clean on arrival, and all of our questions about the house were answered promptly. Great experience all around!

Great location

We found the location of this property perfect. About 2 blocks from the beach- easy walk and not too loud. We have two kids 5&1 and the three bedrooms worked well, except if you have a pack and play you need to set up the only room it fits nicely is the master. We squeezed it into the room with two twins- but that room is already tight and it took us moving the beds over. Also note to parents - the coffee table sliding drawers are a little finger smasher, bring a fitted sheet to put over it and hide the drawers! Wash/dryer worked excellently. Kitchen was well equipped. House was very CLEAN. Only draw back on the property for us is you can’t access the backyard where the outdoor shower is without walking around the house to the front door. So you get sand off you only to add grass clippings. A back door addition to the master bedroom on the back of this property would be a huge upgrade.

Perfect family vacation

The house was sparkling clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. It was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos. All the appliances were new and I'm perfect working order. The location was fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to town with plenty of stores, restaurants, and bars. We are looking forward to traveling there again!

Perfect

Lovely home just a short walk to the beach, easy for my 5 year old and Mother-in-law. Gorgeous master bedroom and bath. Other bedrooms were a little small, but everything was spacious. Well equipped kitchen, although it could use a whisk. 10/10 would recommend.

My stay

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The overhead lighting was a little dim in the bedrooms but otherwise everything was great. The tv was a bit confusing at first but my daughter figured it out. Overall it was a great beach experience.

Spacious, Clean , and Convenient

The property manager was so friendly and helpful! The A/C was great- nearly 100° all week. Quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. Very calm,warm water in bay, great for little ones!Not crowded- easy to maintain social distance. We will definitely go back!

Great getaway

The house was very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well supplied for basic meal prep. Easy walk to the beach and out for ice cream in the evenings. Plenty of room for the five of us (3 adults, two kids).

Positively the location is a plus. Negatives: Having to provide own sheets and paper products; Grill is not really usable; hot water runs out before 5 showers; some better living room furniture would be nice; adequate cleanliness

Sweet Cottage

This cottage is charming and part modern, part old school. By far the cleanest house I have ever stayed at the beach. Love the location...walk to the beach, walk to restaurants and shops in Lewes. I highly recommend it for your next Lewes stay.

Extremely clean and perfect location!

Check in process was a breeze. House was extremely clean and had all the items needed for a week away from home. House is close to the bay and a 10 minute drive to the ocean beaches. We rented bikes for the week and there are tons of bike trails. We also bikes into town (3 minutes) to avoid paying for parking. Overall very pleased with this rental and would rent again.

Had everything we needed

Very nice property. Had plenty of room and mostly updated. Drainage was a problem outside of the property when it rained. Had to wade through 3 inches of water from the front door to the street. Full sized bed was the only one that was moderately comfortable. All other beds were slight upgrade from sleeping on the sidewalk. Property was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Four minute walk to the beach and a very close walk to downtown Lewes. We were very happy overall and hope to stay again. Would be 5 stars with some new mattresses!
