Wake up to tranquility and wildlife at this bayside location on the Mississippi River. Uniquely perched at the waterâs edge, the fresh bright interior design provides modern comfort and stunning views of the private bay and river through expansive windows. If you are looking for a quiet respite and a change of scene, this cozy gem shuts out the noisy world and allows nature to remind you of the sights and sounds of serenity.
CENTRAL MINNESOTA This area of Minnesota has much of what northern Minnesota has to offer, but itâs a shorter drive from the twin cities metro area. There is beautiful landscape and water access, fishing, water sports, hiking and biking trails, movie theatre and live theatre, historical sites, and more!
LITTLE FALLS The Gateway to the North! This small town has a rich history, and the past few decades have seen significant investment in renewing downtown and other areas. For more information visit the City of Little Falls website.
DOWNTOWN AND DINING
A few favorite downtown restaurants A.T. The Black and White is a long-standing favorite whose current owners are Le Cordon Bleu trained chefs.
Ciao Thyme is run by chef Scotty who was born and raised in Little Falls, and is recently returned from the lucrative Brainerd Lakes vacation area.
Also downtown are cute shops, Great River Arts Center, a hair boutique and more! Café Strolaga is just up the road and specializes in gourmet coffee. For more about these dining options and others see the link below!
GROCERY, QUICK EATS, AND CONVENIENCE STORE
If itâs Caribou or other fan favorites youâre looking for head just east of downtown and in 5 minutes youâll have your pick of many of your favorite fast food places. Also, in this eastern part of town there is Coborn Grocery and Walgreens.
OUTDOORS
For kids, and the playful at heart, the schools offer a great outdoor place (when school is not in session) with a lot of field space, an elementary playground and (if open) a Πmile track for running.
For outdoor activities, check out the Soo line hiking/biking trail (2 miles away), McDougalâs Homestead (4 miles away), Little Falls Golf Course (4 miles away), Maple Island Park, Lindberg State Park, and the Little Falls Zoo, to name a few.
NIGHT LIFE
Little Falls has several bars, at some you may catch a DJ night for some central Minnesota dance vibes. North of town there is the Starry Eyed Brewery and the recently updated bowling alley.
The neighboring towns also have some places to check out. âŠ
For more information about things to do in and around the area look up the Visit Little Falls website.
Additionally, you can check more information on the internet or contact us if there is something specific you are looking to do.
TRANSPORTATION

Parking is usually readily available either on the main streets of Little Falls and nearby towns or nearby in parking lots and parking is free most places! For those wanting some exercise and a nice river ride, the 5-6 mile ride into Little Falls from Bayside Hideaway is a nice way to get to know the area from the always unique perspective of a bike ride!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt
This property is perched right at the edge of the Mississippi River and also has a private bay so has 2 sides facing the water, so close it almost feels like you're on a house boat, but its firmly set just steps from the water's edge.
