Great stay

My husband and I came for a little getaway! This place was perfect for us two. We loved the location and how close it was to both downtown Traverse City & Torch Lake. We will be back as we have found that Traverse City is such a hidden gem!

Great Vacation Get-a-way!

This rental was beautiful - even better than the pictures show. To top it off, the location was amazing! The sandy beach of Lake Michigan was just outside our door - and the view from our balcony was perfect!

It's all about the Views!

The views from the condo are beautiful! The Condo was clean and just like I imagined from the photos. We had a great time. The only downside is if you like to watch TV at night before you go to sleep is the Satellite TV would come in and out and some nights it would not work at all. But overall, the Condo is just like it says and the views are breathtaking.

Lovely Stay

For our first time staying in Traverse City this is one lovely place. The views were great from our room! The description of the room was just as advertised and the jetted tub was amazing. The only thing that was not working on our stay was the AC, it got pretty hot outside but it was pretty much the last day we were there. Overall would definitely rent again!

Weekend Getaway with a View

Great spot for a couple! Wonderful view of Grand Traverse Bay without even getting up from the comfortable king sized bed! Having a balcony was nice too. Property manager responded quickly when the WiFi code didn’t work.

We loved the location and view from the balcony. The beach below is great and the pool was excellent. The staff was very attentive. They worked well to keep the beach clean. The condo was as advertised. AC worked well. The place was as advertised.

Great couples condo for a long weekend.

Drove up from Indiana, great condo location for our first time to Traverse city. It was overall very clean, well maintained and equipped for our needs, even the condo employees were onsite to help, kept pool clean and graded/raked the beach daily. Perhaps I overlooked it but do note, no elevator
 stairs only. Only long term suggestion for the owner, remove the dated jacuzzi and install a larger walk in shower.

Beautiful condo

This is a beautiful, clean studio condo in a great location with a gorgeous view of the East Bay. We brought our bikes and could get to the trail easily that took us downtown. The beach was nice, plenty of space and chairs to relax. The grounds are kept very nice and clean. Plenty of restaurants and other stores close by to get what you need too. The only issue we had was with the air conditioner. It didn't seem to get the room very cool, had to run it nonstop.

Quick stay

I brought my family (including wife, 11y/o, and 9y/o with me to Traverse City for my work trip. This was a good location, right on the water, and near the downtown attraction. The checkin and checkout processes could not have been easier. The pool was fun for the boys. The property was quite in need of some cleaning, including stairwells full of large spider webs, and fruit flies throughout the unit we rented. Otherwise it was clean and as advertised. Coffee from the front office was pretty good.

Nice remodeled unit with a great view

This was a birthday getaway. The unit was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. If we had any questions we did need to call as they don’t answer messages through VRBO. But they did answer promptly. One suggestion would be to sweep the balcony. Other than that it was a nice place to stay and near the wineries, town, casino and restaurants. The pool looked nice and the water was warm

The bones of this condo were good. It is a cute room and the view is AMAZING! The shower, while small, had a fantastic showerhead with great pressure; that was honestly our favorite part of the room. Jacuzzi tub didn't work which was the main reason we booked this room and we were not told about it prior to check in. We were quite underwhelmed when it came to the upkeep. They have slat blinds covering the slider to the patio and half of them were missing. My husband had to make a curtain out of a blanket to maintain some sort of privacy. The patio furniture was covered in cobwebs that definately were there for a while. We had to take papertowels to them in order to sit down. They had decorative charcoal grey pillows on the bed that had some white residue on the one....so naturally that made it feel super dirty. Cobwebs on the ceilings. We aren't ones to say much when it comes to this type of thing but it was really needing some upkeep. Sadly we don't get away much for weekends so it was pretty disappointing.

Wifi not available as advertised

Wifi was scarce to non existent. Got the royal run around from the property manager who at one point told us, "You can always go somewhere else but she wouldn't refund our money". I told her we'd be contacting the BBB. Apparently this has been going on for quite some time.

Ac didn't work and the shower didn't work right

OK, well, I must say I'm less than impressed with the room . The shower is very touchy. It is either boiling hot or cold. 2nd, the ac never really got cold it was bearable, and i would turn on and off constantly. It would shut off and beep than turn right back on making for a person that is a lite sleeper horrible. The owner said she was going to have someone look at it. And she said when i called "the last person that rented it had a problem with the A/C" and ill have someone come look at it But that never happened. We were just left to deal with it. But its in a nice location and it was clean. Right on the beach

Shabby motel stay.

The pictures are really great for this place. The reality is it’s a shabby motel room with some nice paint. All of the “little” things/touches were missing or broken. The TV remote (which I see was stated in a previous review- so FIX it!). The Keurig machine had three cups for a two person, two night stay. One wine glass (again someone mentioned this before- replace it!). The toilet paper is one ply sandpaper. No Kleenex. I was unable to stop up the tub to enjoy the jacuzzi. Overall, I know I sound a bit whiny, it just wasn’t what I was expecting and had lot of frustrating, missing parts. I will not return and do not recommend. I did book this place for the view, and that did not disappoint!

Nice Stay in Traverse City / Needs a Few Improvements

We enjoyed our stay in Traverse City at this property. The positives are the room overall was nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and the location is perfect in terms of being close to downtown, but at the same time far enough away to be tranquil. We did have a couple of opportunities for improvement that we wanted to share. It would have been nice to have a better list of everything we should have brought with us such as toilet paper, dishtowels, etc. We ended up having to go buy these items. It would also be nice if the room had a broom. We found that sand inevitably was tracked into the room and we had no good way to remove it. An ironing board and iron would be helpful too. Also nice would have been to get clean towels another time during the week. Even with only two people, we found that our towels were pretty done for after 7 days of using them. Lastly, we wish we would have known that this property is both hotel and condos. We ended up asking the hotel cleaning staff for toilet paper because we ran out one morning and it was an awkward interaction as the hotel doesn't service the condos. Additionally, the light fixture on the ceiling would flicker and the air conditioning didn't seem to cool the room adequately unless it ran the whole time. So overall a nice stay, but some things need to be improved to hit 5 stars.
