Welcome to your elegant mountain vacation at the Double Diamond Lodge! This stunning 5,594-square-foot haven is nestled away up on Peak 8 here in Breckenridge. A beautifully crafted modern style cabin with elegant woodwork and stunning stone details throughout the home. Walk out your front door to find the pristine Nordic trails of Peak 8, great for hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. This home offers a truly unforgettable mountain experience. This home is pet-friendly for a fee. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know. There is a $350 fee per pet, per stay.
Proximity: Located on Peak 8, this home offers direct access to the town's Nordic trail system and is just 0.2 miles from a MyFreeRide bus stop, providing easy transportation to downtown Breckenridge and the ski resort.
Living Room: Step inside to soaring ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the room with natural light. Plush seating invites you to unwind while enjoying breathtaking mountain views.
Kitchen: The gourmet kitchen, a culinary enthusiast's dream, features top-of-the-line appliances, dual islands with bar seating, and ample counter space. Whether you're whipping up a gourmet meal or simply enjoying a casual breakfast, this space offers both functionality and style.

Dining Room: When it's time to dine, choose from two adjacent dining areas that can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests. For a more intimate gathering, retreat to the cozy fireside nook, where you can share stories and laughter by the warm glow of the fireplace.

Laundry: A full-size washer and dryer available for guest use.
Nordic-in/Nordic-out: This home offers access to the town's groomed Nordic Ski trail system and close proximity (0.2mi) to a MyFreeRide bus stop. Skip the lines and step outside to explore miles of scenic, lift-free terrain ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and peaceful winter outings. While the Nordic ski trails and ski resort sit side by side, they are separate systems offering the best of both worlds: quiet, endurance-based recreation and the excitement of high alpine skiing nearby. In warmer months, these same trails become a network for hiking & biking.
Alpine Edge provides supplies for a typical weekend stay, including paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent for a few loads, hotel-style bottles of shampoo and soap, plus extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels, are also included.
4WD/AWD/Traction Devices are highly recommended during the winter months. We recommend referring to the Colorado Department of Transportation Traction Laws before arriving in Summit County. We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May.
This home has a private hot tub, so extra towels for the hot tub are included. We take care of cleaning and servicing the tub before and after your stay.
