This house worked perfectly for a trip to Milwaukee for my wife and I, our 7 year old, and my parents. The check-in and check-out procedures were quick and easy and communication with the host was great. We liked the location as it was not right in Milwaukee, but was easy enough to get in and out of the city.

Great property for our generational family to stay, with a lot of space. The bedrooms are segregated enough to control noise from each other. All bedrooms upstairs, so need to climb. Two empty rooms on the main floor, one could easily be made into an additional bedroom. It would have been nice to have furniture in the other empty room to provide a separate sitting area. I would have given 4 stars, but the house could use a deep clean. There were little handprints all over glass and mirrors, as well as a bit of sticky residue on some surfaces. Fridge needs a good wipe out, master bedroom carpet could use a deep clean, and shower walls could use a good scrub from the hard water residue. Overall it was a good space for our needs.

This is a nice home from the 1980s - big and sprawling. Tucked away in a little wooded area so it feels quite private. Nice sun porch and deck. All bedrooms are upstairs (full flight). Living room is sunken with large step down. There is an empty front room and office (would be nice for main floor bedroom). Furniture and decor are functional but appear to be afterthoughts and random. Mattresses are comfortable, one king bed vibrates and adjusts, one queen bed vibrates. There were toiletries in the showers and kitchen basics. But no toaster!Bring your own bed pillows and bath towels. If you like to feel cozy, bring your own blankets. What is provided is not adequate, especially for the price of the rental.The house needs a good deep clean: windows, sticky walls, inside of appliances, ceiling cobwebs, behind tables/beds, bathroom fixtures scrubbed, floors. It feels like an older large family home that was well-loved and now needs some attention.

Comfortable but cavernous

We had everything we needed to be comfortable but the high cieling and lack of furniture made this house feel very empty. It also made conversation different because of the echo. My parents are older and had difficulty with the variety in levels in the floor and the amount of steps. This was intially advertised as a 3 bedroom but it is only two with plantt of other rooms but no beds. It was close and convenient for what we needed but the cost was more than i think this place was worth. If i had been able to see reviews before renting this place i may have changed my mind.
