Summary:
Welcome to The Caddy's Cottage. A centrally located complete home with a putting green.

This home is an easy 5 minute walk to Jack Trice Stadium, Hilton Coliseum, and Reiman Gardens. Great location for football games, basketball games, and any events at The Iowa State Center.

Sharpen your putting game before you head out to some of the premier golf courses in central Iowa. Located minutes from Coldwater Golf Links, 14 miles to Honey Greek Golf Club, and 22 miles to Tournament Club of Iowa.

This home is great for Cyclone fans, parents of ISU students, golf fanatic's, visiting ISU scholars, and business people.

Very clean - everywhere including kitchen and utensils pots and pans, bedrooms, bathroom was really nice and clean. Nice yard and neighborhood - fenced yard in quiet area great for us and our dog. Close to everything. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Thank you!

Perfect home for our stay for the National Senior Games - convenient location, nice deck in the backyard for relaxation, nice front porch for reading & morning coffee. Responsive host, efficient kitchen for preparing healthy meals. Highly recommend the home.

The caddy’s cottage was perfect for our needs!!Very clean and updated nicely!We we there to visit ISU as our dog was having surgery. So close and convenient to the Hixson-Lied small animal hospital.

Best stay ever

I am reluctant to be honest about our stay out of fear that it will double in price and/or always be booked, but our stay at the caddy’s cottage was great. The photos undersell the place’s charm and coziness. It is simultaneously quaint (guessing WPA-era original construction) with modern appliances and amenities. The beds were so comfortable, I asked the proprietor about the mattresses so that we could buy one for our home. The only nits to pick are a narrow shared driveway (but you could park on the street) and a single, small bathroom (which comes with a great shower!). With family in Ames, we will definitely stay at the cottage any time it is available.

Caddy’s Cottage is one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in. It’s in a quiet neighborhood that is close to a BIG beautiful park and also walking distance to the Jack Trice stadium and ISU campus.We loved the “golf theme” interior and putting green in the backyard as well as the hot tub. The screened in gazebo (with a fan) was wonderful-given the summer bugs were out in force and couldn’t get to us! We had our 2 small dogs with us and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring the fenced in backyard and we enjoyed the safe and private yard for them to run around in. The front screened in porch-with a swing was just another added touch, that makes this home a step above others. The vintage style home interior was very cute and decorated beautifully. It was very clean and there was alot of attention to details, like the tea basket with a variety of teas to choose from. We didn't use the washer and dryer but they were available to us. There were a couple mentions about the shared driveway. We had no issues with it- in fact we parked in the street most of the time but could have used the d/w. The gentleman that lives next door was friendly and quiet. We come to Ames twice a year to visit family. We have found our new home away from home. :-)
