På Little Bay De Noc har några av din största walleye fångats här. Walleye-säsongen öppnar den 15 maj för alla Great Lakes och inlandsjöar **

Noc's Landing ligger på 5 tunnland på västsidan av Stonington Peninsula i Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Stugan ligger på norra änden av de 5 hektar, cirka 200 meter från en annan, tyst stuga. Detta daterade, rustika, pittoreska hem har ett privat strandområde, (även om det finns många ogräs och stenar), enkelt badrum, stora vardagsrumsfönster som låter naturligt ljus hälla in och sjösidan med en vacker utsikt över Lake Michigan. Unikt för den här egenskapen är det artesiskt väl och över bukten beskådar av Escanaba (fenomenal fyrverkeri). Fiske i världsklass efter Walleyes, Smallmouth Bass och Northern Pike. Denna stuga med 2 sovrum har en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, tv (endast DVD-skivor och spelare tillhandahålls, ingen WiFi, ingen kabel), eldstad (på det privata strandområdet med stenar (ingen ring), kolgrill, och köksbord för din njutning.

Bugs: JA, det finns buggar i Michigan, särskilt runt vattnet. Myggor är de vanligaste. De är särskilt tuffa i skymningen.

Husdjur: Husdjur är välkomna! Freshwater Vacation Rentals debiterar för närvarande $ 50 / djur för hela din vistelse. Ja, vi accepterar hundar, men vi ber att du rensar upp efter dem både inuti och utanför hytten. Plus, om du tillåter dem på möblerna, ber vi att du tar med egna sängkläder / filtar för att de ska sova på. Plus, om husdjurshår börjar bygga, ber vi att du ska springa vakuumet. The appliances were quite outdated but we really didn't care. Everything worked fine. It was kind of strange because the second bedroom wasn't available to us. It must have been under construction but we didn't need it. The best part is the location and the view. Just as described and even better. I'm concerned because it doesn't seem to be available to rent in the future. We would love to come back and are hoping it will be available again.

Foremost is being right on the lake with unbelievable sunsets. We’re kayakers and had awesome kayak outings.

Relaxation

Wonderful and relaxing view of Lake Michigan from the deck and through the large windows. The house has plenty of room to stretch out . Very well stocked with everything you need.

Long weekend near family

Location of the property was beautiful on the lakeshore. Inside of the cottage was clean. Comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed the location, was able to sit on the deck when there was a breeze to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the view. However, I had brought my dog, of course expected to pick up after him—-rather difficult when the grass was very overgrown. The overgrown grass also contributed to the large number of mosquitoes on and around the patio entrance, which was the entrance we had to use. Management tried, but was unable to get someone to cut the grass on the holiday weekend. They were very responsive to that and other minor issues.

Peaceful

My wife and I have never been to this area. We found the house to be excellent and clean. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck with water views, check in process was easy and the mgmt company responded to several questions very very quickly. Grocery shopping at Meijers in Escanaba was a large convenient plus. Ice cream cones for lunch at Garth Gas/Grocery was a treat. Highly recommended

Little slice of UP heaven

It was exactly what we were seeking to get away from the city. The wildlife was so abundant I couldn’t believe it. Every night we could see a few does and fawns in the yard. The sound of the bay was beautiful and the breeze from it was spectacular. Cooking dinner two nights of the stay was something we had never experienced on vacation but it was so nice. We were able to visit local meat markets in nearby towns and it was a great experience. Plenty of boat ramps close to the house, and a light house at the end of the road was a cool adventure. Walmart and meijer plus a variety of city amenities were within 35 minutes of the house so that was convenient for us. The neighbors to the house were very nice and welcoming in passing but overall the stay was secluded and quiet which was great. I would stay here again and again when going to the UP.

Nocs Landing

We love the home and had an awesome time. The reviews on the property were very accurate, we very much appreciate the use of the property. One thing to add is make sure you bring your own groceries, the nearest grocery store is at least 30 miles away.

Nice Location for a pup

Very nice location on the bay, with beautiful sunsets. House is dated, but I imagine a place with everything brand new mint condition wouldn't allow dogs. There were rat traps on the property that I needed to move as our dog was sniffing them, so be aware of that.

Beautiful Lakefront Views!

Quiet and beautiful area. Deer all around. Windows open to Lake Michigan waves rolling in shore. Did not make a fire as no real fire pit. House is rustic and dated decor, but roomy. Queen beds were rather hard. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen adequate but could use new stovetop, oven, utensils and dishes. It is overall a good place to stay but could be 5 star with a little updating and cable or Dish TV (can only watch DVDs). It does have WiFi.
