Vacker ny stuga att hyra. Huvudsakliga sovrummet har en 2-bit ensuite (handfat och toalett) Queen size-säng. Andra sovrummet är också utrustat med en queen size-säng. Tredje sovrummet har en våningssäng dubbel storlek på botten singeln på toppen. Köket har full storlek kylskåp, spis och mikrovågsugn. Enjoyed our stay!

Exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly host who answered any questions right away through messages. If you need a getaway to just chill, this is it. You need to drive to get to island attractions but nothing is very far away.

This cottage is even nicer than the pictures. The yard is large and beautifully maintained, with a huge deck to sit out and enjoy the quiet view. We had the best time, thanks!!

A Fine Home Base for Manitoulin Island

This basic home was fine and a good value for our family of four. The primary drawback is that the home does not provide wi-fi, which I didn't realize before arriving. Considering the home provides satellite TV... I would imagine Internet is possible, and it would be better to have Internet with no satellite TV in my opinion, since guests often travel with their own streaming services. There is also something of a water rationing encouraged since the home is not connected to municipal water source or well. Instead water is trucked into the home, so the owner encourages limited water use. This did not prove to be an issue for us in practice, but it did make us more water aware throughout our stay. There is not a normal shower provided, instead, a tub only, with a spray nozzle. All in all, we enjoyed our time on Manitoulin Island and this home was well situated for our needs and a good value for the price.

A perfect getaway

Hiking adventure to Manitoulin Island led us to this cottage. It was perfect. A good location from all the places we wanted to see. It was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. Would definitely use it again if we went back. Bed was super comfy!

Manitoulin adventure

The property was actually much nicer than the pictures showed. House is basalt a brand new home. Location was good for us to explore the eastern side of the island including cup and saucer, providence bay beach as well as a couple of small museums and a cultural center. Water at the house was not an issue for us, although we were careful with our use of it.

Nice short stay in this clean and comfortable cottage

Our family stayed for 2 nights at this cottage. I must say we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice it is. There are many details in the house that make it feel welcoming and comfortable. The mattresses are extremely comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, every room is nicely decorated, there are even some good movies on DVDs for you to enjoy. It was easy to be in touch with the owner and the check-in was very simple. I would definitely come back. The only inconvenience is that given that this is a rural property, not connected to the water/sewage system, it is necessary to be conservative with water use. That is something to take into account in case you really need to wash clothes often or do a lot of cooking.

We enjoyed our stay

Overall we are very happy with the cottage: it was well clean and nicely equipped with the basics of things needed. I found the access to the water to be a little disappointing. It was about a 10-15 minute walk. The walking path to the water is overgrown a bit so only able to walk down the path. We tried to be careful with how much water we used as we had no idea how close we were to running out of water. We had to bring our garbage home with us as the waste facilities were all closed when we were leaving. It was pretty smelly to have in the vehicle with us. We would stay at this cottage again in the future. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog with us, as he’s apart of our family!

Fabulous 10+ Rental

Absolutely satisfied with our stay. Our cottage was in the perfect location for what we wanted and needed. The area was quiet, and the property is beautiful. The cottage was very clean. The water wasn’t an issue, we used the bottled water provided for what we needed, and we did our best to keep the water usage to a minimum for other uses ie: bathing. No wi-fi which was okay for us … we were there to unplug, and we have cellular data, so this was not an issue either. Satellite tv has great reception. Morning coffee on the deck to start our day and fire at night to end it. It was perfect! Only issue was the garbage disposal. The landfill is not open on Mondays which was our checkout day. It was challenging for us to bring the garbage with us when we left. It was our first time using Vrbo to book a rental … we were very impressed and would rent it again. Thank you :)

Just what the doctor ordered

Thank you Sheryl for the loan of your cottage. It was a lovely space to rest and relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the cottage was spotless upon arrival. Thank you for the suggestions of activities and local eateries. The fish and chips at Green Gables were outstanding! The location of the cottage was perfect for getting to and from local activities like Bridal Veil Falls, Little Current, Gore Bay and a variety of hiking trails. Just sorry I couldn’t hike the Cup and Saucer trail this visit (waiting for a hip), maybe next time and there will hopefully be a next time! Great cottage and host!
