Fun-Filled Family Getaway! 5BR Lakefront w/ Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Dock Toys
Welcome to your next vacation home! This spacious 5 bedroom home has been newly updated as the perfect lake house for large families, groups or multiple families with kids. It sits deep in Buck Creek Cove at mile marker 8, providing easy access to popular locations on the lake, and offering lots of great amenities sure to make for a great vacation!
All 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms are are located on the second floor offering great privacy. A recently added bunk bedroom features 6 bunk beds and a large flat-screen TV, making a great hang-out for the kids. This house is equipped to sleep up to 20 people (or 14 adults) in beds with plenty of floor space for a couple of air mattresses.
(Please note: We require that the primary renter be at least 30 years of age, and be an occupant of the house during the entire rental period.)
The lower level offers a fully equipped kitchen, open dining, living room, bathroom and a game room. A second full-size fridge makes storing food and beverage easy for large groups. Walk out to a large deck with additional seating, an outdoor sectional with a fire pit/table, hot tub and a great view of the sunsets to the West!
The newly upgraded private concrete dock is perfect for all water sports activities! It includes a covered 11X24 boat slip and 1 available PWC lift. Also included with your rental are life jackets, a lily pad, two kayaks (single and a tandem) and a paddle board. The dock platform faces the west with great views of the sunsets!
The location in Buck Creek Cove is perfect for fishing, swimming, waverunners and other water fun. It is a short boat ride to get to popular spots, including Shady Gators, Frankie and Louieâs, Tap & Grille, Lake Burger and others. Meanwhile, a grocery store, Indian Rock Golf Course, more great restaurants and bars, a movie theater and shopping are less than a 10 minute drive away.
Finally, if you are in need of renting a boat or waverunner, we can connect you with convenient rentals that are less than 10 minutes away.

My name is Marcella Boehnke. My husband Matt and I live in the Kansas City area. We love Lake of the Ozarks and have been coming to the lake every year for over 12 years. We are both from NE, but used to live in the Chicago area for 22 years. When we moved to KC in 2021, it made trips to the Ozarks much easier.
After staying at VRBO's at the Ozarks for years, and knowing what we thought made a "great lake house", we decided to take the plunge and buy our own place in 2024. We think we have a good idea of what renters are looking for in a lake house and what amenities make a house stand out. We chose our house in Gravois Mills because of its great location deep in a wide cove, and being located close to lots of great locations on and off the lake.

Our property is setup with the goal of delighting our renters with a great experience. Every bedroom has nightstands with charging plugs for your devices. The floor plan provides great privacy by having all the bedrooms upstairs, and then tons of living area on the lower level with ample seating for large groups.
When you step out onto the deck, you will treated with a great view of the lake and lots of great amenities, including a grill, seating, jacuzzi and an awesome sectional couch with a fire pit table that makes a perfect way to relax after a full day.
