Our stay at Laurelwood Condo was great! We decided last minute to head to the mountains for a little hike and apple picking with our kids and dog. The Condo suited our need perfectly and we had a great time. The condo was right off the main road to Wintergreen and easy to find with the directions sent to us by the owner. When we arrived everything was in order and ready for us to unpack. We had one small hiccup that the owner quickly remedied. Philip was readily accessible and quick to respond with a solution. Check in and check out was a breeze and the house was fully stocked with everything that we needed and more. This condo was the perfect solution for a last minute getaway!

This cozy cabin style condo was perfect. Neat “hidden” room. Amazing loft master room. The only thing I would say to other parents, if you want privacy from the kids, this is not the place for you. The stairs to master bedroom do not have a door or any way to keep anyone from just walking up. That being said, we loved the place and location.

Disappointed and Uncomfortable Stay

Unfortunately, our recent stay at this condo was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, we discovered food crumbs in my son’s bed; which was extremely disgusting and made us question whether any of the bed linens had been changed before our arrival. On top of that, the floors were dirty, and you could feel the dirt just by walking around.To make matters worse, we didn’t receive any check-in information until late Saturday, by which point we had already showered in cold water due to a lack of instructions. Most concerning of all was discovering that the Nest camera inside the unit had been left on during our stay, which felt like a major invasion of privacy.I did reach out to the owner, who was apologetic and did offer a partial refund due to the cleaning issues. While I appreciate the gesture, the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

Great location

Easily accessible top floor condo with few steps. Pretty much can back right to stairs. Convent to market and slopes. The owners were very responsive to messages. Had a great time!

Very convenient

The condo is very convenient to the market, restaurants, and slopes. We were able to walk to Eagle Swoop (blue) and get right on the slopes. The kitchen has everything you’ll need and everything was clean. TV and WiFi were great, loved having access to all our streaming. Our boys loved the Xbox. The host was very responsive too.

Cozy condo

We spent Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great stay. The location at Wintergreen was very handy, easy walk to the market and restaurants. The unit is compact, but well equipped and very comfortable.

Great Location with a quick walk to ski checkin

This is a great condo and location close to the check-in and equipment rental of Wintergreen. This was our first trip there and I loved the location. The house was clean and cozy and had all the amenities needed. Our host was easy to get ahold of and very pleasant. Would definitely rent again.

Snow much fun!

We had an amazing trip! This condo was in the perfect location and easy to find! Everything was just as pictured and described! Only complaint is if you have the fire place going it gets hot hot upstairs! No fault of the owner or anyone just bring a fan! Owner was so nice and responded quickly!

Great location

The condo is in a great location. There is plenty of parking and close enough to walk to the ski slopes. The space in the condo is very well utilized. The property manager is very responsive and interested in providing any help and improvements if needed.

Has all the amenities you need, within walking distance to slopes and main resort! One minor con is one of the downstairs bedrooms isn’t heated and gets pretty cold during our winter stay, but a small space heater is provided.

Best Location, Great Communication

My husband and I visited for two nights with our two young children and my parents. My parents took the loft, my husband and I took the small side-room in the living room and left the front (better) room to our kids, because it was closer and easier for them to get to the bathroom. Definitely loved the location of this condo. Communication with the host was easy and quick. When we first checked in, it was taking quite a while to warm the place up, so the host was quickly able to alter the settings to help get the house warmed up more quickly. The fireplace was great, too, and we loved having so many blankets available. There's very limited space to put food (one suggestion to the host might be to move the empty bottles/glasses elsewhere to free up some space for groceries) but this was a minor thing that didn't lessen our enjoyment of the house. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Good place to stay


Very good condo for a family on vacation, clean and spacious. Small but complete kitchen with lots of dishes, pots, and everything you need to cook a meal. Loved having two ovens. 😊😊
