Extremt bekvÀm tillgÄng till Wells Beach Àr bara ett av de mÄnga fantastiska egenskaperna i denna rymliga semesterresa. Hemmet ligger tvÀrs över gatan frÄn den vackra Wells-stranden (TvÄ hus ner frÄn det offentliga vÀgen # 2 som leder rÀtt till stranden). Denna avkopplande semesterort Àr fullt möblerad och har tvÄ privata sovrum med en dubbelsÀng och full storlek sÀng. Ett stort vardagsrum har en dubbelsÀng soffa för att sova totalt sex i enheten. Det finns stora vindrutor i det frÀmre vardagsrummet sÄ att svala havbris passerar och den vackra strandsolen för att lÀgga till mycket ljus. Vardagsrummet har en stor platt-TV med kabel och en DVD-spelare (för semesterfamiljfilmer). Huset Àr ocksÄ utrustat med WIFI för barnen eller företagen (om du bara inte kan komma helt bort). En stor kök med bonus sittplats för familjerÀtter Àr mycket bekvÀmt. Köket Àr fullt utrustat med spis, kylskÄp, mikrovÄgsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost och allt mat- och köksredskap du nÄgonsin skulle behöva. Badrummet var helt renoverat och har kakelgolv och vacker stand up-dusch. Utsidan av enheten har lika mÄnga bekvÀmligheter som insidan. En stor inhÀgnad trÀdgÄrd (SÀllsynt sÄ nÀra stranden) ger barnen en plats att springa / leka av den semesternergin och de vuxna en trevlig plats att sitta och koppla av. En grill finns ocksÄ för sommarkokningar. En bonus utomhusdusch finns ocksÄ att tvÀtta av strandsanden. Det Àr bekvÀmt, ingen krÄngel utanför gatuparkering för tvÄ bilar. We had an awesome week at the beach. Our family are outdoors people, so we spent 8 to 10 hours a day at the beach. The rental was only for eating and sleeping. The time spent at the rental was good. The amenities were as advertised. We were able to cook all our meals. The beds were comfortable. And everything was clean when we got there. Shelving for unpacking our dried goods would have been very useful but does not warant a reduction of the five star rating.

Review of Wells,ME VRBO

Prior to our arrival, we had to have a separate contract with owner, which noted NO SHEETS OR TOWELS included in unit, and we would be charged for them or we had to bring our own. However, since I said it was not mentioned in the listing and had no knowledge of this, we couldnt possibly travel cross country with these items. The owner left a container of sheets/towels in a bedroom, and upon arrival we proceeded to make our own bed. The pictures shown on site, looked far better than in person and I was surprised how different it was. Although the unit had 2 bedrooms, there is not enough room for 3 or 4 people, without bumping into each other. It’’s good for 1 couple and a child,at best. The TV didn’t work, the lighting was poor in the living area and bedrooms, with tiny little lamps, so impossible to read at night. There were several small issues that were taken care of in a timely manner and for that we appreciate the Owner’s quick response. However, we did not expect to deal with things that had not been kept up, during our stay. This is not a newly renovated space, except for the flooring and small bathroom sink. Freezer had rust on the shelves, the bathroom shower had mildew on the door, no hot water at first; his unit next to us had a problem with the toaster burning and alarms going off. There was no soap, shampoo etc, which is in every other VRBO. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I hope this owner gets more involved with his properties here.

Already planning on staying there again next year. Some minor glitches upon arrival but David fixed everything in a very short amount of time. Apartment was very clean, parking was great, and we couldn’t have been closer to the beach unless we were on it! I would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay at Wells beach

Perfect location, right across from a path right onto the beach. Walking distance to many stores, arcade, ice cream spots, smoothie place, and a great little cafe. Unit was clean, parking easy, and sea breeze comes right in.

This apartment was the perfect fit for my group of 4 adults. It was sooooo clean. Plenty of dishes to cook in. Very easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back someday. Remember to take your own sheets and towels and washcloths. We were a little concerned about no AC but the temperatures stayed in the high 60’s so it actually got kinda chilly by morning. But the breeze was perfect during the day with all the windows open. I HIGHLY Recommend this place. And the owners were absolutely delightful to talk to when we arrived.

Great location, just steps to the beach. Property as deacribed. Washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Owner responds to inquiries promptly. No AC in the unit (we stayed late May so the weather was not too hot). Beds were very uncomfortable.

good for what we needed

I will say we only stayed a short time, but we could not park in our unit's parking spot because there is a dumpster and port-a-potty in another unit's spot, so they had to use ours. We could also hear the people above us. Overall, the beds and the spot were lovely. We had such a beautiful time in Maine.

The property was just as advertised. Great access to the beach. Close to many great restaurants. Centrally located among many beautiful seaside communities. David was very responsive and timely.

Awesome location

After a brief hiccup upon checking in, all issues were resolved in a timely manner. The location was incredible...so convenient as we were in Wells to spend time on the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our beach vacation

We had an overall great time, location was perfect! Close walk to the beach and shops and arcade! Only not great thing was the smoke detector going off loudly early while we were still sleeping because someone in another unit was cooking bacon, this happened several times during our stay. Obviously we would want to know if there was a fire somewhere in the property but don’t need to know if someone is cooking bacon! 😂

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

My family and I have vacationed in Wells beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $15/day. Then we would load all our 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 66 Atlantic Ave has been very convenient. It is two houses down from Public Way #2 (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way). Bathroom calls are no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 66 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center.' If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade, get an ice cream or visit the candy store, they are right there. Great views of all the comings and goings on Atlantic Avenue from sunroom/living room with lots of windows. Right across the street from the Sandy Wells Beach
