Our home is right on Wells beach. Wake up every morning with a 180 degree panoramic ocean view from your deck and living room. This home is the ultimate in beach convenience. Wake up to sunrises over the ocean and enjoy family fun on the deck as you watch the sun set. A Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils allows for eating in and the central location of this home allows for quick access to all the great local restaurants. Wells is getting more and more popular each summer. The number of homes that offer this degree of beach access and ocean views is shrinking every year (as owners convert rental homes to private homes). Treat yourself to the ultimate Wells beach experience - Stay right on the beach!! Within our recently updated circa 1924 home, this 2 bedroom unit is adjoined by a 3 bedroom unit (VRBO #2278234) on the opposite side of the home. If you are looking to vacation with family/friends this setup provides for both close proximity and privacy. We purchased this home in 2021 - that is why there are only a few reviews as of yet. We own another home on Atlantic Ave that has double digit highly positive VRBO reviews (VRBO #3912788). You only live once, why not treat yourself to one of the best locations Wells Beach has to offer! Enjoy the panoramic ocean sunrise with your coffee!! Seaside serenity

This property is amazing. From the cozy home with all the amenities you could need for a beach stay to the spectacular views on both north and south sides of the property. We stayed in both sides, with the south side our gathering place with a large picture window and sliding glass doors to the ocean front deck and it has a slightly larger living space. Having both sides available affords a nice privacy option if needed. This is one of those stays where you never want to leave.

Beach get away

House is right on the beach. Very clean and easy to get to. The owner is delightful and very helpful . Lots of decks and chairs and we definitely enjoyed our stay.

1 Week Family Vacation

The location and beach experience are top notch. It’s far enough down the beach where it is much quieter and there’s lots of room for the kids to spread out and play. Even at high tide, there’s more than enough room for everyone. The house has all that you’ll need. As mentioned by others, the walls are thin and depending on who is next door, you may hear a decent amount. Our experience was great though. There were plenty of family friendly places to walk to right down the road - restaurants, shops, arcade. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Week

We rented both sides. Wife and I stayed on one side, Kids and grandkids on the other side. Best vacation in a long time. Great place to stay. Ocean right outside the front door. Clean and comfortable. Slept like a baby.

Best vacation of my life

The property was fully stocked with blankets, kitchen utensils, and linens. It was the prefect size for my family of six. Morning sunrises, on the deck with a coffee, were serene. The location doesn’t get any better for families. We will rent this property again.

Beach House

What a beautiful location, to be right on the water is unmatched in our book. This was perfect for our family with 3 kids under 3. Kitchen is fully equip with all your need, a grill and beautiful patio to have meals and a fire at the end of the night (we brought our own fire pit) We will definitely be booking again!

Perfect Beachfront Rental

Beach house was even better than advertised. Communication with owner was pleasant & easy. House was clean and welcoming. Everything we could need or want was there. Beautiful views, right on the beach, just unpack & go. Best VRBO experience I’ve had.

Relaxing oceanfront stay in Wells ME

The cottage was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Close to everything you need. Each night we left our window open and the ocean waves lulled us to sleep. Each morning we watched the beautiful sunrise on the comfortable covered porch. The cottage itself had everything you needed for a short or extended stay. We are so appreciative of the host, Dave, for sharing his wonderful vacation home. Can't wait to stay again.

Nice splurge on Wells Beach

My mom and I stayed in the North suite for a weekend. Beautiful location, updated residence right on the beach with lovely outdoor seating areas. I appreciate the comfortable amenities of the place; however, I do not recommend for anyone that is feeble or unable to climb and descend steep stairs to the two bedrooms. Be prepared to bring your own sheets and towels and to ensure the place is tidy and all windows closed upon checking out. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Lovely beach front home

The location of this home is fantastic, and the spacious front porch provides a wonderful space to sit in the morning sun, relax and enjoy the water and beach views. The house was clean and bright, the kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, the sound of the surf at night was a lovely bonus. Only down sides were a somewhat steep staircase and bedrooms and kitchen on the small side. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

Perfect vacation home

We had a wonderful time staying at Dave’s vacation home. The cottage was clean and well kept. There’s plenty of seating in the main living area. We loved the storage drawers under the bed In one bedroom. This home is split into two separate units which make it ideal if you’re traveling with extended family. The owners also own a beautiful cottage next door to this one. Beautiful view. Cottage is centrally located on Wells Beach making this an ideal location. The owner was quick to respond to all of my inquiries.

My family and I have been vacationing at Wells Beach for the last 15-20 years. We do enjoy the family atmosphere at this beach. Before purchasing 131 Atlantic, we stayed at all the motels and hotels along Rte 1. The daily vacation drama of will we find a parking spot by the beach and packing up the car and being careful not to forget anything as we'd have to drive back to get it - (and risk losing our parking spot) was not really fun. We started staying right by the beach and our stress levels decreased dramatically. Everything about Wells in the summer is fun (see Congdon's Doughnuts, Billy's Chowder House, Mikes Clam Shack, The Steak House and even Dairy Queen). We take a lot of pride in our home and constantly look to upgrade.

If you want the positively best Wells Beach experience, then stay right on the beach. This home is the ultimate in convenience and experience. You can watch the tide come in and go out from the deck or living room. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from your comfortable chair on your deck is absolutely therapeutic. This home is also strategically located between Public Way #2 and Public Way #3. The distance from both can decrease the potential for crowds that is sometimes seen right at the exit of a Public Way. The location of this home is absolutely amazing.
